  • The shadow dodge mechanic is clever and a really good use of the theme. Unfortunately, there wasn't much use of alchemy outside of using magic. The game concept is really fun, and overall the gameplay was nice. I did encounter several bugs though, which affected the playability. I was able to shoot one of the gorgons without them reacting by having them just visible enough to hit them in range. After getting the upgrade of extra teleports, I would have to go back to the magic circle to regain them after using both. They would not recharge like it did before getting the upgrade. The Medusa fight was broken. When I got to the arena, she wasn't there and only appeared when I tried to leave. She would keep disappearing if I got too close to the edge of the exit as well and restart the fight if I left and came back again. Overall, i did like the game, but the bugs really did affect the gameplay.

Very fun! Movement is great, the concept is fun, the combat is engaging (especially the boss). Needs a lot of polish, but the game is already super fun.

The art looks really good.

UI and UX could use some work. For example, I got stuck in the very beginning on some white rectangle, until I randomly stumbled on a dialogue prompt. Abilities are interesting but need explaining. I like the idea of dodging using your shadow but you are locked in animation for so long that it’s probably faster to just move. Didn’t really find any use for [Q], although the animations are beautiful.

Also, the music in the village reminds me of that Silent Hill 2 melody.

We lost track of time and had build issues, so it definitely needed some fixes. There was a lot of small issues that wouldn't of taken long to fix, but just no time T.T. Thank you for playing the game!
