  • Very neat concept, very pretty art. I wish it was more clicker then WASD movement but still fun. The mixing made me think about how my next move was going to be. Not a lot of changes I would make save for the movement.

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
yes

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
yes

Tell us about your game!
TONIK is game all about mixing potions ("Toniks") to create new ones. Some might have beneficial effects, and some might explode! You play as a shadow blob that can outstretch to navigate the piles of Toniks falling from the ceiling, just make sure not to let the room fill or it's game over!
The controls are arrow keys or WASD to move, up to outstrech and down to pick up toniks (explained in-game)

Cool take on the tetris thing.

I felt that the game lack any real objective. In your GDD you say that little alchemy inspired you, in little alchemy, you combine for example water and fire, it produce steam, it make sense.

In your game you combine red and yellow potion to make snail (I think) and I feel the game combine elements just for the sake of combining them.

However, your artstyle is excellent and the music is cute. It's pretty chill all around

Developer

Hi, thanks for the feedback! I can see how many combinations feel pretty random, as my process for making them was adding the colors of each into one object, I probably could have put more emphasis on this

Glad you enjoyed!
