- I like the teleportation skill, but I feel the movement of moth is a bit slow making it take too long to utilize strategically. What does save it is that you can essentially hold down right click and attack at the same time so you're always moving moth around. It is difficult to tell when you land a hit on an enemy and vise versa (outside your own health bar), and so some form of hit indicator would be helpful in knowing the hitbox. I wasn't sure what the goal was either in the game, and did not know what the squares did after collecting them. Giving players direction and informing them of the goals helps motivate players to be invested in completing whatever objective there is. Overall, solid game. Good job.

Moth and the Flame is a 2D Top-down horde extraction game where you control Flame and her shadow Moth simultaneously. Wander around the map defeating enemies and completing objectives to finally get extracted.
Extra Notes
Currently, the objectives don't have assets, so defense objective is a square, the collectibles are rounded squares, and extraction is a triangle. unfortunately, the kill objective could not be finished and time but is planned to be added later on. The initial map generation takes awhile in WebGL so please be patient! VFX is also not supported in WebGL which we learned a little too late to change. The shadow controls are also a bit slow on WebGL but regardless I hope you have fun, we sure did making it!

The attack was nicely animated! I really like the main character design so it'd be awesome to see it fully developed with running animations too.
Took me a little while to figure out the controls, but once I learned how to control the orb, it was a little easier. I like the super power mode! Really satisfying to clear the screen and get full HP.
I wasn't able to figure out the objectives so a bit more direction for that in game would have helped. I still had fun in my playthrough :) Nice work
This was a fun horde game! I like the main character sprite (when they get their special AOE is cool as well). The enemies blend into the background, tho I think that's intentional. I would have liked more direction in-game of objectives since I wasn't sure what to do at first. Good job!
Also! the teleporting mechanic was super cool! Can't believe I forgot to include that! Adds a lot and is super cool to be able to escape when you get surrounded
