- Loved the game, think this is a really nice use of the theme. I had some issues differentiating the enemy types, I would recommend some reworking of the visual aspects to help with this but overall a really solid entry, one of my top ones rated so far!

This is Shadowfall, a "Vampire Survivors"-esque game where you play as an alchemist fighting off hordes of enemies. Beware of shadow monsters, for they can only be felled when you fight them from the shadows. Reach your max potential to transform into a nightmarish necro-horse, and unleash the ultimate attack: Shadowfall!

Fighting from the shadows is a really nice twist on the Survivors play style. The difficulty seemed well balanced and the graphics were great for this genre of game. The environment felt a little constraining at times but overall a great little game. Good job!
Fun game, played it like 3 times to max level! 😄 I really like the idea of being in the shadows to attack different enemies. Would be nice if you could tell the enemies apart better though. Also cool idea with the transforming & the “shadowfall” attack, would love to have other animal shapes with different attacks, too.
Hey st4ng, great job on getting to the max level Thanks for the feedback - I do agree that the visuals of the enemies are a bit similar...
Standing in shadows to change your projectiles and harm some enemies is a neat idea, however, I can't tell the difference between a bat and a shadow bat. Maybe take some inspiration in Ikaruga where white projectiles defeat black enemies and vice versa.
Still the concept is very good
Hey Najoy, thanks for your feedback! I do agree that the normal bats and shadow bats are nearly impossible to tell apart - players need to know which is which and making game mechanics more intuitive will be something to improve upon in future game jams.
