This is a very good visual novel kind of RPG game! I love how the shadow and alchemy in the game fits the jam's theme nicely because I give people potions, kind of like them wanting some alchemy magic to change their spirits for the better. As for the shadows, Ava doesn't know who the human is or what they look like until she gets a good, clean scan of the person whether that's by talking to them, asking them questions or just by hearing their name. I also loved the artwork of the game, including the animated background and simple sprites. I reached the end and I love the message that I see, it's like I got a computer popup saying that I won the game. This entry is solid and should get more recognition!

- I really enjoyed this RPG, it's a really unique angle to talk about alchemy from the perspective of an automata. However, I am a little confused as to what the style is supposed to be - your GDD states WASD to move etc. but I seem to be unable to escape from the graphic novel style interface. I like the idea of how you interpreted the shadow part of the theme, and the setting being an alchemists shop is a nice, but basic link to the alchemy part of the themes. Again, really clever storytelling approach, however the different choices don't really seem to have a knock on effect that one might expect. I love the drawings, and that you put the art development into the actual game is so cool!

A cozy life simulator RPG inspired by games like Stardew Valley, Rune Factory, and the Atelier Series. The player will help a developing artificially intelligent automata built to serve as a shop keeper and alchemist for witches who have better things to do.
On top of the pretty obvious slam dunk of just having alchemy. Since the protagonist isn't human we decided to make it so people are shadows to her, as short hand to communicate that she can't process any of the visual information humans learn naturally. Similar to how most people can't tell the differences between different animals without some kind of education or spending a lot of time with them.
Extra Notes
It doesn't have any sound guys, I'm so sorry.
