i liked the crafting for sure! i think it might've been a little easier to see what sort of weapons i've created and their effects, some of them didn't look like they shot anything, but overall i loved the mechanics! fire and air were super powerful in my opinion

- Very nice game, it felt pretty good. Noticed some icons were missing! Which is fine, some extra swirls and some more elements later on with some weakness guide would really add to the game. Love the art and the feel of the game. I played it probably longer then I should have. <3

Spirits Unleashed is a deck builder inspired heavily by Mega Man Battle Network. You combine alchemical elements to create cards to battle against waves of enemies.
I actually animated and designed a bunch of enemies that couldn't make it through the final portion because I was stunlocked over a, admittedly important, feature.
The story of the game is:
You assume the role of Beatrice, a novice alchemist. She sought to create artificial life, her own homunculus, but the process caused an accident in her lab. As a result, spirits that she has harvested are wreaking havoc and trying to escape. Armed only with the shadowy homunculus she just created, will she use it to survive - or will it use her?
The idea was that you could upgrade the little critter but it would have drawbacks on the player.
Extra Notes
I had a lot of fun! I haven't seriously made a game in a few years now so this is quite the debut. No matter what, I'll be working on this game in my spare time. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
