The combination of mechanics was great. I liked the fact that you had to budget your lives to get through, no chance for a perfectly clean run. The music was good too.

- This game slaps. From the aesthetic to the gameplay to the bagpipe techno soundtrack, this game has it all. The frustration of the mechanics I experienced was not based on bad design but lack of skill, as it should be. The well designed levels and smooth mechanics allowed me to strive to get better as I progressed through the levels. Having the mechanic of using your 'lives' to progress the level like lemmings, and the freeze mechanic really brought it together for me. I'm not sure how difficult the developers wanted to make the game to progress, but I found several of the earlier levels maybe a bit too hard with placement of obstacles requiring perfect timing to progress through, if this was the intent, good job you succeeded :) The game mechanics of avoiding light for enemies until you're ready to drag them, freezing through lava obstacles, and the jump puzzles were all very well designed, though the friction coefficient when not frozen might need some adjustment as I felt a bit slippery when jumping sometimes. Graphics and sound were very well designed, I wish there was SFX for jumping but I understand time constraints are what they are. The music was great though. Graphically, the lighting stood out to me as very well implemented. One minor improvement I would add to the game is a life counter that stays viewable once the mechanic is introduced. I found myself running out of lives early on before realizing the number floating above my head on respawn. Overall, absolute masterpiece, I thoghroughly enjoyed playing the game.
