  • Really solid game, ran smoothly without any issues. I loved the visual style and music, felt really fitting and enjoyable to play. The verticality and layout speak to good level design. I enjoyed being able to move strategically as well. The UI was visually cool and I liked how you demonstrated the loss of ammo and life. The writing was also good with a few entertaining segments. Specific GDD feedback, it would be good to include concept art, or design information. It would also be good to include a workflow to keep you on track and in scope. Lastly you could include key-bind mapping in the document. I really enjoyed playing and was kind of sad when it ended, I guess those plasma cannons were supposed to kill me. Keep it up game it really fun.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player controls a walking weapon. The game should evoke a strong sense of power fantasy while playing.

This is my first Game Design Document, I'm looking for feedback on how to improve my design writing skills.

Cool mecha game. Has some nice flair to it though it is simple. The initial loading of the game is very slow, might want to look into optimizing textures or something to speed that up. Would definitely love to see more added to the game. Seems like the volume is set very low. The auto targetter system is very good. Didn’t seem like the humans could hurt you, maybe let the player walk on them to kill them.

Sweet demo, also fell off the map though! Could the camera be adjusted a bit to see more in-front of the player as it made feel a bit nauseous, perhaps just me :)

This is such a cool looking project! I really love how the mech looks and feels c: it was a lot of fun maneuvering around and destroying everything! I fell off the map at the end but after playing again and clearing all the enemies i realized that was the end :3 amazing work!
