  • What a great game! The topic of possessing the enemies to make them your weapon to escape the lab is a nice idea! The execution is super, the game flows very well and smoothly, and there is a certain feeling of pressure to survive that is constantly there! The levels also build in complexity nicely, meaning there is no feeling of the difficulty plateauing. I'm not sure if I masterfully walked around the guard with the gun, or it might be bugged, but I suspect he meant to shoot a possesed person? The sound effects were on point. I really liked the idea of a timer on both being inside and outside a body, plus the fact that you could use each enemy a second time, albeit shorter, is a very good idea to make it less punishing! Plus it can work as a game mechanic further along: a weaker enemy, which can't survive after the first possession!Possession the guard would also be awesome, so that you can use their weapons! Maybe some places to hide, secret passages, boxes to "duck" under... there's so much that can be added! Definitely a project to keep working on if you want!

You are the weapon. When not in possession state there is nothing to do except possess an NPC...or die!

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
No particular special request. I'm satisfied with the prototype for what it is. Just some general feedback would be great.

Fun mechanics and art direction. I liked having to deduce the enemy behaviors. Good work!

Got through it all with a few retries on 2nd to last and last levels. Pretty challenging and fun game play. Well executed all around.

If I could change one thing I'd add a 'follow me' power for all formerly possessed skull dudes. Skull mechanic could be better explained through gameplay, once I got that mechanic it clicked.

Basically, they switch sides and will operate switches for you.  The uncorrupted NPCS will actively try to close doors while corrupted ones will try to open them. I didn't have time to implement patrol routes so they are stuck with the wandering atm. Thanks for playing!
