Thanks so much for the feedback and for trying out the game. I could tune the run speed a little higher; I will likely have to as I continue the project and the levels grow larger. Right now it's tuned to keep the smaller levels difficult. Best of luck in the jam!

Thanks for playing and best of luck in the jam!

Definitely agree on the sound design. I'll have some updates to the project once the rating periods have ended for the jams I submitted to. Thanks for playing and best of luck in the jam!

Thanks for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it and good luck in the jam!

Ahh yes, the dead man walking bug. I've seen this, and it has prompted me to refactor the entire possession system to use a mediator. The AI system I've written is very extensible, I just didn't have time to add all of the mechanics I would have liked. Eventually, there will be possessable soldiers and combat. Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Good luck in the jam!

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed it

Very interesting mechanics. I like the soundtrack and simple visuals. Nice puzzle game!

We wanted to add some more puzzles but ran out of time. Making the systems work smoothly was quite a feat by itself with the AI and controlling multiple characters. We will be adding more puzzles in the future. Thanks for playing!

thanks!

Basically, they switch sides and will operate switches for you.  The uncorrupted NPCS will actively try to close doors while corrupted ones will try to open them. I didn't have time to implement patrol routes so they are stuck with the wandering atm. Thanks for playing!

Very nice. I like the graphics and definitely a 10/10 on the theme. Juicy effects as well.

Very nice soundtrack. Chill game with some good art. I dig it.

You can run with shift. I just updated the controls list in the description. Good catch lol

Yeah, that'll happen. Thanks for playing!

I'm going to use these for a tutorial video series on YouTube. I'll be sure to link back to this page for credit.

Overall, solid entry. I will say this, I was able to just spam the fire button and cheese the boss while staying on the left wall and taking no damage. I love the sprites but the mechanics might need a little more polish.

Procedurally generated underwater cave with a kraken and some decent visuals. Let me know what you guys think

Very nice concept! I like the whole scheduling calls features...it's like choosing the stick you are going to be beaten with.

Interesting concept having to change color to aid in avoiding the bullets. Great work!

Nice concept. Pretty fun game over all, nice work!

Pretty interesting concept. I actually like that it is difficult to see the creatures unless they are moving. Very nice idea

Really good game for being made in just 10 days. great visual and lots of action.

Nice little concept. A lot of story before getting into the action, but once I got into the boss room the pace really picked up! Good job

Interesting concept. For me I don't think the visual novel genre fits very well with the bullet hell genre, but the bullet hell portion of the game was good. Had fun dodging the projectiles!

Pretty good game. Took me a while to figure out the controls, but once I did I found it quite enjoyable

Nice little retro shmup! interesting mechanic having to collect the oil

Interesting concept, but I would not have forced the player to supply their own audio. I had to dig around for ages to find an audio file. That being said, the generation mechanics work really well. I would have just put in a few CC0 audio tracks so people could just right into the action!

Great little game. I really love the concept of the shifting perspective. Short but very fun overall and a nice incorporation of the limited theme.

Very nice simple little bullet hell game. Great work
