I'm going to use these for a tutorial video series on YouTube. I'll be sure to link back to this page for credit.

Overall, solid entry. I will say this, I was able to just spam the fire button and cheese the boss while staying on the left wall and taking no damage. I love the sprites but the mechanics might need a little more polish.

Yeah, I mean I have plans to add lots of stuff and make this a full Steam release with multiplayer. Deathmatch modes, ability to call in a leviathan, but the timeframe in the jam really limited how much I could add. Thanks for the kind works and checking it out, I really appreciate the feedback!

thank you so much for your kind words. I intend to polish this game further and add several features including multiplayer with different game modes and many more reasons to explore the labyrinth! Like you said it's just a jam game and these things take time we just don't have!

You are exactly right about the multiple different gun options and how they were intended to be different for each side. I just ran out of time and had to take the easy way out and make them both the same, I plan to put some more work into this that will incorporate that feature. Also, drop a comment on my youtube channel if you want me to make a tutorial for the minimap. I do thing like that over there. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_yKxbSfqtU7hU9Nx03G1ww

Yeah, almost the entire game was built from the ground up during the jam period. Trying to make something like this in 10 days is a pretty big ask for a mostly solo project.  I had to add the health and invincibility pickups last minute as  well, because the game was basically impossible without them haha. Thanks for checking it out!

Yeah, I should have added a little more feedback to let the player know the boss is taking damage..

didn't really have time to balance things the way I wanted. Pretty pressed for time with all the features and content I was trying to put in and polish. Appreciate your feedback.

Procedurally generated underwater cave with a kraken and some decent visuals. Let me know what you guys think

Very nice concept! I like the whole scheduling calls features...it's like choosing the stick you are going to be beaten with.

Interesting concept having to change color to aid in avoiding the bullets. Great work!

Nice concept. Pretty fun game over all, nice work!

Pretty interesting concept. I actually like that it is difficult to see the creatures unless they are moving. Very nice idea

Thanks for checking it out! I always say I'm going to add an options menu to control volume and brightness to my jam games, but then I spend the whole period cramming as much content in as possible and never get around to it hahaha

Really good game for being made in just 10 days. great visual and lots of action.

Nice little concept. A lot of story before getting into the action, but once I got into the boss room the pace really picked up! Good job

Interesting concept. For me I don't think the visual novel genre fits very well with the bullet hell genre, but the bullet hell portion of the game was good. Had fun dodging the projectiles!

Pretty good game. Took me a while to figure out the controls, but once I did I found it quite enjoyable

Nice little retro shmup! interesting mechanic having to collect the oil

Interesting concept, but I would not have forced the player to supply their own audio. I had to dig around for ages to find an audio file. That being said, the generation mechanics work really well. I would have just put in a few CC0 audio tracks so people could just right into the action!

Great little game. I really love the concept of the shifting perspective. Short but very fun overall and a nice incorporation of the limited theme.

Very nice simple little bullet hell game. Great work

Thanks for checking it out. Yeah, I chose to go with limited visibility. I had planned to make a weapon cooldown system for limit ammo as well but ran out of time. thanks for checking it out!

Yeah, there is a lot more polish that I could have added, but I just ran out of time. Thanks for checking it out!

It makes a substantial difference if you enable HDR in windows. Apologies, I made the game with HDR enabled and didn't realize it would be so dark for others

The game is very punishing. The other team member requested Dark Souls in a platformer. He will not be working with me on the next jam bahahaha

Thanks!

Yeah, I never really intended it to be a browser based game, but I know that not everyone wants to download it so I included the Web GL build so they could at least see it. I uploaded a full HD game trailer for those that were unable to complete the level. Apologies, the downloaded version runs way better.

Yeah, I didn't have a lot of time left to fix some of the color grading so it turned out a little dark. I posted a full gameplay video on the itch page for the people that were unable to complete the level because of the difficulty. Didn't think it was fair to put content behind a difficulty wall.

Thanks for taking the time! I really appreciate it.

I may just upload a full quality complete gameplay including the cut scenes so that the people that have issues completing the level don't have to miss out on the full story. I know the game is hard, but I also don't think it is fair to restrict content to people behind a wall of difficulty.

Yeah, it runs and looks way better in the download version, but I know not everybody wants to download so I put up the inferior WebGL build alongside. Thanks for taking the time!

For some reason I can't get this to play at all. Maybe an issue with Web GL

Very interesting concept with a lot of mechanics. Good work!

Thanks for playing! Were you able to reach the end? There is another cutscene at the end that really ties the whole story together. Just a little hint, the entire level takes around 1:23 to complete and gets progressively more difficult as you go. There are 3 log sections, once you pass the last one you are nearly there.

Cute characters!

Pretty decent game, I was a little upset when the boss refilled his energy. I thought I had him! Looks great though. Good job

Due to the time constraints of the game jam it wasn't feasible to make everything look as beautiful as the intro. So I settled on keeping the cutscenes beautiful instead. Thanks for playing!

Pretty repetitive but overall an interesting idea. I like that you didn't take the easy way out and just have the player buying things to progress the game in the spirit of the theme...you went a different way with it.

You can always come back and try again when you have more time. Personally, the first time I beat this it took me about 15-20 attempts. Thanks for taking the time to try it out!
