What Game Segment is this Theme For?

Creative Mode

Description
For the initial part of the track, I aimed to establish a relaxed and mysterious atmosphere. I went for a more "beta minecraft" and I wanted to create a space where listeners could casually contemplate the possibilities of their Minecraft world without feeling overwhelmed. The second section maintains a similar chill vibe, leaning towards a lo-fi aesthetic, even though it's not strictly that genre. I've preserved a simple chord progression but added dynamic melodic and percussive elements to craft a captivating soundscape that inspires creativity.

The start with the synths is something I wasn't expecting. I feel like the mixing is intense (in a good way), but it works perfectly in this context.
OH MY GOD, THAT PIANO! Followed by the plucked synths, and the bass...
Yeah, this is easily a contender for one of the best tracks I've heard here. This is very fitting of a creative mode track, and I think I'd stop playing survival just to hear this, haha.

Really nice, fantastic sound design and really good mixing. There is not a lot to say, you nailed it and it would 100% fit in minecraft, I don't have anything more to say ahah

I agree with UwUCatAgent, this track is perfect for creative mode!

I still know little about synths but I think the combination of sounds you achieved, sounds incredible. I'm very curious to know what synths you use. I really liked the mystery mood of the first part.

Awesome work!

Thank you :) For the synths especially in first part I used a free sound called Subtle Clarinet found in pianobook library for the first main pad, processed with some reverb and Portal by Output Audio to get some granullar effect layered with mostly a bunch of PhasePlant sound that I crafted myself or used some preset that I later modified to my taste.

This is super good. Great composition and production. I just checked your DAW screenshot. Did you really layer 3 pianos for the main piano sound (not a Nuendo user)?

Developer

Thank you 😊 and yes indeed layered 3 different piano sound.

The result sounds great. I will have to try that myself sometime :)

This feels like it would fit the creative mode target so well! Great job on this project!

Great work, the section changes would be magical if I had to define them with one word! I think that the arpeggio that sounds throughout the song fits well with the "creative mode" congratulations.

This sounds like Minecraft’s soundtrack from an alternate universe! It captures C418’s sound, while also being its own thing. I could hear this working very well while playing in creative.

Hey fellow uploading difficulty contestant person! Thanks for the feedback on my track. I was gonna do some comments after I listened to everyone's, but I am about half way through listening to the submissions and your track is standing out big time for me! Musically I am vibing hard with what you're putting down and it all sounds so professional and crisp! Thanks for sharing your music!

Nicely done!! Lovely progressions, the development keeps things interesting, and mixed excellently.

Also enjoyed the ear candy touches and reversed elements>>
