I pretty much just pasted my poems into a google doc, put a little bit of formatting so that the titles of the poems were bold and the title of the chapbook was large and I'll make it into a .txt and .pdf Here's how to do that: https://ww.9to5google.com/2019/11/09/create-google-docs-pdf-document/#
Please make sure to read through all the links I provided in the OP and the compilation of resources in the resources document i linked at the very beginning of the original jam page as well. if you still have questions after that then ill try and make a more specific resource simply about compilation
Friendly advice that you don't have to take but thought I might as well share... Don't be too worried or overwhelmed, just upload whatever you can and go from there, you can always change something if you need to and other people will help with what you need! I went with a google doc and a picture I edited on my phone, doesn't have to be fancy. Good luck! :)
Hello! This jam seems like a fabulous idea, as I love to write poetry whenever I have the time, and I have some previously written works I'd love to gather in a collective. I just have a quick question!
- Would a collection of song lyrics be considered appropriate? I honestly always feel poetry and lyrics are closely related, in that lyrics are nothing more than poetry designed for musical backdrop, but I was wondering if it'd be appropriate for this jam. Would lyrics be OK, or should it just be straight up poetry?
Thank you ^^
