I really liked the mechanics, but I feel that the levels are quite empty. But in general I liked it, keep it up!

you made a pretty straight forward platforming not feel boring by adding the tension with the overheat, pretty solid foundation

would really recommend taking a look at the concept of coyote timing if you intend to keep making platformers, can make a big difference in the perception of fairness by the player

some suggestions to make this feel more “alive” would be to add some particles either on the feet (like rocket boots) or on the back (like a jetpack) to sell the idea of a double jump

Thanks for the tips, they pointed me in the right direction to learn more

Super fun mechanic, I found myself trying to get through the platforms as fast as possible as to not overheat, I do wish that the jump and double jump were more responsive though. Other than that the game is great!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you had fun

The game is simple but surprisingly fun. I feel like the controls could be made more responsive tho and sometimes the double jump just doesn't seem to work (but this might just be skill issue on my part). Overall, good game with potential

Developer

Thanks for playing. No worries, it's not your skill; I'm just having a hard time with this double jump bug
