What did you update?
Non-diagetic UI overhaul, and perhaps better control over going out of control and removed code that stopped player from moving after refuelling once fuel gauge was fully emptied :)

What you would like feedback on (Optional)
Potential style overhaul [design look and feel]
Story premise suggestions welcome too
Any task oriented ideas to keep the player occupied during the level before meeting an end level state [aside from the current collection task] would be great :)

You mentioned that you changed how diegetic the UI was, but I was not getting any sound at all. Is that intended? It was also unclear which direction to go most of the time, maybe having a few arrows around to guide the player would be good? I just now realized that this build was uploaded 16 days ago which means that it is not the uploaded one? If so, let me know when you upload the newer one so I can give that one a try! :)

Thank you so so much for the comments and feedback - You are absolutely correct and I expect to see these glaring kind of issues ironed out in the next iteration. 

I took a limited concept and provided an almost literal outcome for it really I guess, but felt it had some scope in the player mechanics of the game play, or at least I ended up thinking that ha. 

Sorry @Cooper Anderson, I thought I'd written non diagetic UI in the changes description - my stupid bad but with respect to this question, I was going more in the vain of improving the current Diagetic UI on the space guy and ways to improve this visually :(

Sound is literally non existent in the game at this point, but I had initial delusions of grandeur that in 48 hrs I could code out a procedural audio handler for proximity to walls, collectables and textural changes to background audio based on level progress.

It's a back burner for now...chucked into the box of nothing special with all these others I've never let see the light of day haha.

I've seen this concept a few times in the jam, and this is definitely one of the better ones on execution. However,

- 120 Orbs is way way way too much, that's at least 30 minutes of doing the same thing

- While the level designs helps, not having a map really confuses the player on where they should be heading at times

- Some sound feedback would be nice

As for the feedback part:

- Aesthetic overhaul would be nice, needs some deep space bgm and sound effects to go with it, and the menu and UI should try and fit the game too

- No idea on story-wise

- Having more tasks would definitely helps with the game flow, but do try to lower the number of current task as I said above

Edit: Forgot to mention, you didn't set the WebGL build to be playable in browser

... and it goes on and on to be fair :)

The provided details here [in your feedback] have gone into the Trello for it and a they have really become the milestones for any next attempt/ revisit - these have actually been truly golden so thank you so much for critiquing it with such a pro attitude in the aid of move something forward :)
