Sorry I couldn't play on chrome and safari from macos  :(
I gave you all 3 stars as an encouragement. Don't let this stop you!!!  :)

Developer

Thanks for the bug report! I should have tested it in various browsers :(

Game does not work in Firefox.

A little difficult to understand at first but I really liked the style of the graphics! Keep up the development :)

This is fun! Needs more UI though ^^

Thanks everyone for the playtest!

Sorry for the missing manual - haven't managed to squeeze that into the jam. But I've updated the description today. It has the controls and a background story (how silly it may be).

The main game loop is to move around, pick up energy crystals and cyber-sneeze to infect enemy robots with your firmware.

And the main problem is the energy distribution.
It is accumulated in the receiver while you walk. That energy protects you.

You need to stand still for a second or two to sneeze. Otherwise you will not infect anyone.

At start a little confusing, but I somehow ended up liking it. I also liked the simply pixel graphics .

Developer

Thanks!
I should have put in a simple splash with controls and instructions on how to play. Since I didn't have time for an actual tutorial anyway. Well, now I've added controls into the description.

Ok, now that you have added the controls and goals, it's much clearer. And oh boy, I'm impressed, the ability to upload real files as custom firmware during the game is amazing!

Now I also need to create a spec for the virtual machine that control robots - I've managed to implement almost 40 opcodes, but failed to create some examples of really smart firmware.
With all these artifacts present, you can actually play that game as a local multiplayer - everybody will create their own firmware, upload it and then let the bots fight each other without human intervention... just like in RoboCode/Omega and the likes.

I won but not sure how i did xD

Developer

Thanks for the run. You've got 51 robots infected with your firmware. I should have put the info on goals somewhere in the title bar. Or maybe show that in a splash screen before the actual gameplay...

Seems interesting, but couldn't figure out the controls.
