Looks like a game about procrastinating to a degree. Looks like the character in this game has a very sad life! I guess you could interpret the gameplay from the viewpoint of someone in depression but not sure if this was the intention. How could you make this more explicit? Could be interesting to capitalise on that idea to get the emotions across. Right now the game is okay but there's not much there. I reckon you could have spent less time coding in the minigames, and more time with the rest of the game
Great art and I like the idea of gambling as a ritual. It needs some win/lose condition though. Maybe a target rent that you can't reach just with daily income?
Also the slot machine is way to fair for a real slot machine. Breaks the immersion.
interesting game, the only thing missing would be a drive to gamble and sleep, i felt like i could get an auto clicker key'd into space bar and always win the slots machine game, as the money just kept going up, it may have been worth working on the code a little more to make the game always feel like you can lose at any point like with gambling its more about the big pay out than the small wins, people tend to play more for that big jackpot prize and convincing themselves they have a chance to win it. the rest of the game felt overshadowed by the slots and i never felt the need to sleep as i kept winning xD, but all in all a fun game.
I like that you were able to to come up with three mini games. The first two were fun but I was a bit confused by the third one. I don't know what sleeping did for me? Great concept.
This one is really cool. I love the three mini games. My man needs to get a job to get by though xD Gambling is not the way haha! Really cool that you got this done in one week though. I had fun trying to manage my money!
Yea i enjoyed it, the assets were really good and I thought the choice of options were intresting. I think the ratios could've been a bit higher for the payout though XD Would've liked some music for hitting a big jackpot because you know we all like that shiny sparkly excitement to entice us for more! But yea spamming the spacebar and having music probably would've torn my ears off so maybe thats a good choice!
