I think it would have a little better feel if pressing the opposite direction did nothing and if the snake started out at a slower pace and speed was increased with each apple.  It's a good start and those things can be tweaked.  Good job!

This was fun! Definitely fast paced, which I like. My only criticism is that it kills you if you go the exact opposite direction of travel, which doesn't feel quite right.

I would recommend including the controls somewhere on the page or in the game. My friend told me it was WASD but I just couldn't get the game to work no matter what I tried :( I watched my friend play it and it seemed a little fast.

The snake is going way too fast but other than that it's okay

Nice recreation! The chomp sound is very satisfying. Is it intentional that you can kill yourself by pushing in the opposite direction of your movement – e.g., you’re moving left, press right, and instantly die since you “hit your tail”? Some Snake games just do nothing in this case, and I wasn’t sure if it was a conscious design choice or not. Either way, fun! Good job. The pace is a little bit fast for me to get very far haha!

Thank you for the feedback! And yes it is intentional for the snake to die when you press in the opposite direction. Just thought if you miss click there should be consequences. Same with the fast pace. I just think snake should be a fast paced yet precise game. But what was you highest score?

I only managed 9! I didn’t have much time to spend, though.
