Very nice. What's about sound?

Developer(+1)

I think a lot of the early PLATO games were played in classrooms, so didn't have sound since that would be distracting. The PLATO was also weird in that it used recorded sounds AFAIK, so they could use any kind of sound imaginable... but I wasn't able to find out exactly how it worked, so I didn't think I could accurately replicate it.

Always like the minimalist concepts in old games, that's empowers you to imagine more. Very interesting concept and great game also :)

Very, very cool de-make. Also, love the punny name. Great job!

Well done - I loved this.

Super cool concept and thanks for providing some backstory on the PLATO system, too :)

I had a bit of difficulties with the command (because I have a french keyboard) but otherwise... It's very good! It really feels like a game you could play in that time, with very basic graphic and limited memory, it feels insanely authentic. It was a nice time travelling experience for sure, good job!

Don't hesitate to try our game btw ;)

One of the most stylish entries I've seen so far! I'd like a little more guidance on how to find stone / distinguish between icons on the screen. Like a user manual lol. Even so, I'm super impressed!

Great execution. I have a problem with the way you did inventory. There is never enough space. It ges really annoying really fast.

This is a time-traveling experience. Really nice!

The colors and sprites are amazing. The 3D peek at the terminal is fun. I like the whole package containing the game. The game feels very authentic to what I imagine it was like playing games on these terminals. Thanks for the game!

The art is interesting because it's not determined pixel-by-pixel, but rather with a list of coordinates for lines (see code) that get drawn to the screen.

Thanks for pointing out the code. I like the line definitions for the toon. I'm impressed that everything is done in javascript. I've usually avoided the language but the advantages of running in the browser are obvious and compelling. Good work, I hope you have more programs planned for PLATO.

Very impressive presentation. I love that you made this whole 3D Screen that you can turn off and on. The art looks great in its minimal format. Over all great work!
