There is no Idle Animation, and my Character Walk in place, looks funny, but visuals are very similar to PS one style games, great!

Developer

Thanks for trying it out and for the encouraging words!!! Ugh, I know that was so frustrating - sorry about that. This is my first crash course in Godot so I didn't have time to fully understand animation trees, etc, but rest assured this is on my list of things I'm gonna fix for my next update.

Characters are very creepy, but fit the environment very well. The visuals are very polished and put together well. My favorite guy is the robot guy.

I like to hear that those creepazoid ghouls belong in the crater! Thanks for playing! The robot / deranged securitron was my absolute fav model to work on so I'm really pleased to hear someone feels the same about that guy. He's pretty groovy!

The surreal enviroment goes so well with the ps1 wobble. Great game! rip LDJ

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I haven't subdivided my meshes just yet because I want to maintain that wobble, I'm happy to hear you appreciated it. RIP king lol

Good touch that works on linux!! Thanks for making it!

Developer

I'm so glad it works! Thanks a bunch for checking it out and for letting me know :)

I'll second the great atmosphere and music. Extra points for Godot and Linux. One weird bug that could have something to do with normals. The camera angle seems to affect everything globally. Texture warp and light/shadow. Here is a quick vid. Overall this is a 5-star game jam entry, folks, well done! https://streamable.com/wfo48e

Thank you so much for the sweet words and the hint!! I'm such a beginner when it comes to Godot and dev in general so I really appreciate this feedback because I want to improve this lil experiment. You're so kind! I'm planning on spending more time with your Flappy Bird goodness today :3

Beautiful colors and atmosphere! Feels very authentic and, as said, very creepy.

(Also nice to see some work in Godot! ❤)

Thanks for checking it out, John! Yes! Team Godot!

Really got that creepy / uncanny ps1 atmosphere down, It's a shame what happened to Long Dick Johnson though.

RIP absolute legend gone too soon :(

Awesome music! Loved the shader effects with the textures aswell, overall a very eerie playstation vibe of New Vegas.

Thanks a bunch :3 I'm so glad you enjoyed my little experiment! I know I've gotta push on and make this more of an actual game. I plan on adding a kind of trigger to make all those ghouls and the securitron SNAP once I figure out how to set up enemy AI and how to implement a combat system

Really eerie experience, loved seeing Novac again in a new light. Music was great too. Good job!

Developer

Thanks a bunch for checking it out & for the kind words, tomonaku! Likewise with your sub!!! Ah, nostalgia lmao

Psychedelic. The audio source is cool, couldn't help but bob my head too. Thank you for the experience.

BTW, They asked me how well i understood theoretical games, I told them I have a theoretical degree in games. They said welcome aboard.

Developer

Thanks a lot!!!! You got me so good there, I genuinely laughed. I AM the equivalent of Fantastic with this sub, eh?? Oops! Not really a game but hopefully I can get it to that point in the future. You summed it up! I didn't want to release this with half baked combat + dialog systems because I love VATS and perks too much hahaha. Anyway thanks again for checking it out and for your great comment :)
