Pretty nice for a jam :) A great start even if has some flaws. However the graphics are insanely beautiful :o Good job!

Game is amazing! I like the effects and the way axe comes back. But character slides a bit while standing on the wood log :)

thank you so much! yaaa im not parenting the player to the log object on collision so they move independently. I could make the surface of the log stickier though

Great animation, the screen shake gives it the proper weight that it should carry. Got stuck trying to pass the river, I assume I was supposed to catch onto the log and drag it into the river but couldn't manage it.  Keep it up! Great work!

Thank you! ya I gotta figure out a better way to teach the player these sort of mechanics, wish I would of had the chance to make a proper tutorial.

I just defeated the troll! Nice pixel arts and the axe throwing mechanic is really cool too! Maybe can increase the drag of character movement to make it less slippery. ^_^

Awesome game!! Top-notch artwork and fight sound effects. I had some difficulty getting across the river. One time I got a log to fall into the water, another time I think I glitch-jumped but wasn't able to do either of those again. The only reliable way seemed to stand next to the enemy character and have him help me do a high jump across.

hahaha well I'm glad you put the effort in, I'm really trying to figure out a way to get the log part to work, I love the idea of using the axe to knock things over or return things to you, but I don't really think it makes sense in that scene. Gotta check your game out now!

The art is really really good! Congratulations for this top-notch pixel art! 

I enjoy the axe mecanic, and the camera shake effect  when it's returning to you, it gives more strength to the character.

I never played the original game (so had no idea that "return" meant that you could summon the axe back to you), but I really enjoyed this. The graphics were excellent, and the background was especially good. Nice work!

Loved the pixel art :)

The log part is a bit of a problem. Sometimes the axe would dissappear in the water and I couldn't get it back. It also doesn't always knock the log into the water like it is supposed to.

Great pixelart!  It seems like you are fixing bugs so this could help... The axe is doubled randomly.

I was able to jump over it and get to a troll. After the troll I think the game is over?

hahaha yup, didnt get a chance to add an ending or beginning.

You actually aren't supposed to be able to jump of the water, you're supposed to throw the axe over the log and then return your axe and knock the log into the water to jump over. 

I'll have to fix that, thanks for the feedback!
