- This entry is pretty good. The graphics are very nice, though a bit advanced for the NES. The gameplay is simple but fun and holds true to the difficulty curve most NES games. In my opinion this game would've fit more as a SNES game. You could've also bound action and shoot to J and put jump on K to be more inline with the original controller, but that's more a personal preference than anything. Overall you've made a good game, good job!

Great!
Music, gameplay and graphics is great!
Nice work!
this is awesomely authentic, like at least 8 out of 5 stars for authenticity...it's also ridiculously hard (I'm not total crap at platformers/side scrollers either. used to speed run SMB3 and SMW wayy back in the day) mainly because it seems like the dudes (fireflies? army? bandits? cannibal bandits? idk any of the above I guess) can shoot you from off screen but you can't shoot them from off screen, and trying usually means taking a bullet and losing a third of your health.
any chance of adding checkpoints or something?
(initially that's what I hoped the flags were but I guess they're just golf course flags)
Wow this is really a great game. Love the art! Super cool idea!
Pretty fun and challenging
Very well done! I love the pixel art and the music.
My only critique would be that it is too hard, even for an NES game. I think it would already help if the opponents wouldn't fire immediately from off-screen, so the player has a bit more time to react. Apart from that, awesome job!
This is fun! It's very short but it's fun and explains a lot of the plot in only 2 levels!
Thank you! I'm glad you like it.
I will try to expand it in the future.
Well done - fun game
Thanks!! =D
Fun game. Really good pixel art!
Thank you so much! :)
Awesome art work!! Congrats for the result :)
Thank you!! ^,^
I just finished it and decided not to deliver Ellie! Nice pixel arts and music, and the dialogues are very interesting and funny too! ^_^
Thanks!! I wouldn't have delivered it either haha =)
soo well done! love the art style, gameplay was fun and snappy, I really dont have any criticism for this one off the top of my head. But ya this was great!
Thanks for playing! =) I'm glad you like it
Very well done gameplay and art, it could use more weapons or side effects in the gameplay.
Thank you! I would like to update the game in the future. :)
Awesome game w great art! Took me probably close to 50 tries and felt *very* much like a real NES game. The writing was funny too, if awkward
Thanks for playing! and I'm sorry if there were problems with my English translation. ^^
Loved the soundtrack and pixel art! The dark inside levels were especially tense, overall really awesome demake of The last of us
Thank you very much! I' glad you played it and you liked it.
=)
Hey! Nice game that you created there! Liked the art and the NES-vibe! Maybe you want to implement limited ammo in a after-jam-version. ;)
Yes! I would like to add limited ammo. I'm sure I will implement it in the future update. Thank you! :)
Amazing Work! One man army! Pixel art is awesome! Enhorabuena compañero 😉 (he visto tu perfil de twitter 🤯)
Thank you for playing and thanks for visiting my Twitter ^,^
I want to see stealth there and limited ammo :) I like it
Thanks! I would like to add some big update in the future. The limited bullets I will add, and some level focused on stealth.
Took me a while before I realized I could jump the enemy bullets.. Duh! Was very tense trying to dodge bullets on 1 health. Nice job overall!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it. =D
very "Nesy" game , reminds me "freen beret" struggled with the reflex of crouch instead od jump to avoid bullet ;) nice job.
Thank you! ^^ I've been thinking about crouching down, but it makes the gameplay very easy.
Looks great! Really nailed the NES look!
Thank you!! =)
