Excellent work on the graphics and music — this really had the feel of an NES game! The game itself is a pretty unique take on the JRPG genre, mixing in both magic and gunplay, and forcing you to avoid shooting the panicking hostages during battles inside. I did take a while to figure out what the different characters' abilities were, due to the lack of an explanation in-game, but for an NES game, that's not unusual. Overall, great job!

Great music and I like the western setting.

I think it's very cool you were inspired by your D&D campaign :)

Wow, really nes experience, but I didn't get a chance to play longer, because after the first confrontation with the enemy, after killing him, there was only a black screen and musiс(

I really liked the graphics and the music! They're very NESish. I really didn't get to play that much since I broke the game somehow.
I got to the backside of the bar, and on a window I found I guy I had to fight. When I killed it using a fire spell the game went to a black screen while still playing the music. I went to chrome's console and I found this. I hope it helps somehow.

At first it was pretty confusing as I wasn't really sure what I was doing, but once I got the hang of it it wasn't too bad. I'm not too sure what caused it, but some of my moves would randomly be unavailable. For example I'd reload, but sometimes it just didn't work, or when I run out of ammo I suddenly can't use punch? Probably just a bit of spaghetti code or something.
