You're supposed to have your song uploaded to some streaming service (such as: youtube or soundcloud) so people wouldn't have to download songs, please do so next time.
The mixing is a bit muddy in the middle section with the guitars because there are a lot of instruments with overlapping frequencies, also make your primary instrument (probably the piano in this case) louder next time to shift focus to it. The arrangement/structure was good tho.
Hey, Fixed
thanks for letting me know & thanks for the feedback!
I didn't put as much effort as I wanted on the mix but I hope to improve on it next time!
Lovely piano intro. The transition to the angrier part of the music is very well executed. The drop at 1'05" is brilliant, with the pad intensifying and the sound of a bottle opening (surprising). This whole section is a pleasure to listen to.
The mini point that caught my ear was the return to the piano after the rhythmic solo at 2'12". It's all a matter of taste, but the fade-in seems a little strange to me. I'd rather have heard the chord directly.
Otherwise, I love your use of triplets on the rhythm part, it's a great break.
The progression of the track is beautiful. The first transition from piano to synths really sets up for a nice pacing. The arrangement choices are well done, as well as the sounds. The transition at 1.50 is unfortunately a bit weaker. The sounds suggest that this should be the strongest part, but due to dynamics it doesn't come as strong as it could. Maybe you could make the rest of the track quieter in order to highlight that part
Really love the juxtaposition of the sick bass part with the other more chill instrumentation, really vibey track!
Omg the way the synths fade in with those ominous piano chords…I love it! This is definitely one of my top three favorite submissions I’ve listened to today, great work!
Thanks!! <3
Really lifts my spirits, I was planning on adding an ambience on the beginning but had no time by the time of the submission
Will probably add it later on & upload :)
