Title
The Great Beyond
Description
I've never made a song using exotic scale and modes, so this challenge is really hard for me. After looking through Youtube and learning some music theories, I ended up choosing the mixolydian flat 6 scale to make music with as it has a very dreamy like sound which I like, and it contains one of my favourite chord progressions (I - iv). I wanted to make a song about exploring the wonders of the unknown and I feel like the scale fits the purpose very well. I tried to go for an orchestra type song for this challenge because I imagine this song to be a main theme for an imaginary sci-fi or fantasy movie (or video game).

reminds me a bit of final fantasy and I can imagine this to play in a game as intro or maybe a map theme (exploration). really nicely done!
Love seeing other LMMS users! I really like the piano voice you picked, I've never been able to find one in LMMS I like.
Very nice composition, it's very serene and beautiful. I like the flow and structure, and how you maintain a consistent atmosphere and keep building on it throughout the music. I think a little more variation on your theme here and there might help make the music even more engaging for listeners. Great job, I really enjoyed the piece!
Nice orchestration! You could have fooled me, you used the scale really effectively.
Very nice. I liked the part starting at 2:14 the best. The snare added a lot in that section.
Really like your main melody. I always get real strong Stargate vibes from this style of orchetral music, especially with the I - iv usage. Great track!
