There are so many layers of detail that make this sound good. Nice job!

Love seeing other LMMS users!  I really like the piano voice you picked, I've never been able to find one in LMMS I like.

Love the contrast in the sounds...well composed!

Love the instrumentation choices!

You managed to make a cohesive piece out out of the whole tone scale, very impressive!  Going for a jazz sound I think was a great choice with all the dissonance that gets introduced.

I was impressed to hear as much variety with only using 5 notes...nice job!  The subtle video editing was also a really nice touch.

seamless transitions between sections and different voices...sounds really good!

Thanks for the reminder I fixed it!

The melody isn't heavily triplet based, but the rhythm "guitar" plays triplets for the first minute and the drumline is pure eigth-note triplet in the A part, with triplet fills in the C part (B is almost exclusively quarter and whole notes).

Thanks! The white noise is a voice called "the_rain" so it's supposed to be a nature-based intro and outro considering the image of the theme.  A few others mentioned that as well so it appears as though that didn't quite come through.

Thanks!

Thanks!  I don't have experience at mixing/mastering, so I actually used BandLab auto master for the first time...so between that and not being that great at setting volume levels probably is what is leading to that.

Thanks!

Thanks!  The white noise is a voice titled "the_rain", so it is supposed to be nature sounds-ish given the setting to fade into and out of the song, but seems like that kind of missed the mark.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion...I didn't know they had updated it!

I'm impressed at how well you work in key changes and other modes...it sounds so natural you did a great job with the challenge piece!

cool idea!

Yeah, when I googled "free digital audio workstation" it was one of the first one that popped up.

Yours sounded amazing! I forget which daw you said you used, but it sounded straight out of an old-school gaming system.

Thanks for the comment!

The software that I use (Linux MultiMedia Studio) doesn't allow me to see the shape of the wave -- although I'm new enough at the software that I might be looking in the wrong place.  The "voices" that I used were under the "8-bit invader" voice category or were titled "chip-xxxx".   It's very possible they are more complicated than what the voices in this are intended to be, I just don't know how to see that for sure.

well done!

Great to see a fellow Pico-8 game on here.  Nice job!
