Description
I tried to match Stewart Copeland's style from the PS1 Spyro the Dragon games as best as I could by mixing synths and live instruments. Everything was made in Logic Pro, the only 3rd party stuff was synth sounds from Omnisphere and percussion loops from Native Instruments.

Really liked all three tracks, you absolutely nailed the Spyro vibes! Gnorc City especially sounds like it could have been pulled straight from one of the old PS1 games.
Well done! I feel like this was a really great take on the Spyro soundtracks, and I could definitely see these in a Spyro game!
Very nice tracks, I really listened them at one breath, well done!
Really nicely done overall, I can definitely imagine these in a Spyro game!
Night Dunes: This is a really fun song that definitely conveys both desert as well as night vibes. The drum intricacies are especially reminiscent of Spyro songs. This is my favorite of all your tracks. You create great imagery with your choice of instrumentation and the way you arrange them together.
Beach Speedway: I’m a big fan of the use of rock organ. This felt like a Beach Boys track and it shows you have a strong handle on the classic rock genre.
Gnorc City: This track feels the most like it came straight from the PS1. I thought it was a nice stylistic touch to cut the reverb tail at the end of the loop. This bass groove makes me want to keep dancing though even after the song finishes. Overall great work and thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the comment! I tried my best to make everything as PS1 as I could so I'm glad to hear it came through.
Love the vibe!
Thanks!
You absolutely nailed the Spyro feel here - I think Beach Speedway and Gnorc City might end up in my top 5 compositions from this jam, they sound like they were pulled straight out of a PS platformer. Amazing work!
Thanks! I'm glad the intention to sound like PS1-era games came through.
I was literally just wondering where the spyro guy I heard on discord was and saw yours!
Love it, also you get some points from me for having the taste to pick the music from Spyro!
Thanks! I've played so much Spyro in my life that they're part of my gaming dna and I've always loved the music.
