How did you choose to implement the Theme: Song of the Sea in your game?
Quite literally! The plot of the game starts because of a song that the main character hears.

Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Yes, all 3!

Did you create your game in RPG Maker?

Yes

Wanted to post on this for a while. The art was absolutely breathtaking! I enjoyed a lot of the story and was inspired by a lot of the aesthetic choices for my onward projects :> awesome game!

I only got one ending, but it's cannon for me now, so HA! Really well done and I liked the story.

That was SO CUTE!!!! OH I adored that!! The art was beautiful and very cohesive. I thought the sprites were cute and the whole apartment felt very well thought out. It's hard, imo, to do a kinda one location story like this and I felt like I knew where everything was and there was so much fun stuff to click on throughout the space.

The writing was such a fun balance of cheeky and very vulnerable. I thought the audience break / laugh bits were actually very funny haha, a part of me was shocked I wasn't pulled out of it! Like it absurdly fit, way better than you'd think, if that makes sense? It really leaned into the almost story book vibe of the whole story.

The mystery of her intentions was well done. Even as I got the (what I think is) happy ending a not so small part of me still feels a little unsure that Cordelia didn't like.... slaughter an entire ship of ppl just to not be lonely haha. Not here to shame the way you meet your S.O. but also !! o.o  yikes.  But that adds to the actual mystery of it! If that level of actual risk and unsure-ness wasn't there it wouldn't feel as impactful. It reminded me a lot of that  scene in V for Vendetta when he holds her in his underground bunker for the better part of a year, in many ways! That vibe of a bigger power and realizing you're caught in their trap, even if they're being very kind to you. You're still.... caught. Which is a very interesting power dynamic and makes for a cool story.

(Holy guacamole I LOVED the piano playing bit! I just realized I never went and found any sheet music haha but boy did I spend a full ten minutes sitting there hitting the fictional piano notes to make pretty noises hahaha).

All in all a fantastic entry, very happy to have played it and looking forward to more from you in the futureee!!!

I really loved this entry! The combination of visual novel like aspect and gameplay was a nice balance, and I really liked the idea of a siren and human being a couple very romantic! I think I got all endings, and I really hope everything works out for both parties.. I hope they're able to find love and support despite their hardships 💔

Also, I loved all the artwork and the way things like flashbacks were shown! I think if there's anything to say otherwise, I'm a little disappointed in Marissa for immediately judging Cordelia about being a siren and possibly tricking her, right after reading how that wasn't the case with a different person.

I think if I had read that, I'd already have the context and think to myself how, despite her being a siren, it's obvious she's been through this before- so I wouldn't judge her for keeping it from me right away. Idk, it felt a little unfair to Cordelia since it was already explained 😭

Otherwise, I really enjoyed this entry! I look forward to more things from you! ^w^
