Amazingly done custom art and tiles, excellent choice of font, and dynamic, interesting, UNIQUE characters. An excellent entry and one I feel fully encapsulates what this jam set out to do. I especially love how you made it randomly different.

Suggestion: I WANT MORE. I love how this game is set up.

Please see Teal's play-through video, as well as her review of the game in the video description:

The game has a nice opening with some custom CSS and good game options to stretch the screen if you don't want to see the cosmic side-bars. I like the custom art and the music selection is also done well.

Everything is customized in some way and this adds up for a nice level of polish and atmosphere. The menu has been reduced into only two buttons. Sometimes removing things from the game will improve it as is the case here.

The gameplay is straight forward and it's clear what you have to do, and with a sense of urgency too. However, you don't really get that much to do.

The game is mostly show text, but it's customized in a very nice way. Each character talking gets it's own background color and font when displaying text. There's sound effects for chat being displayed and most of the characters have bust art(only the ship's AI itself is missing a bust). It really does present a nice experience.

You get to name the "main character", but really you play as ST4R and interact with a couple of clowns... No seriously, they're clowns. T1CK and T0CK, both deceptive and confusing. They keep mentioning the "main character's" name as they're trying to get to you(the main character). It's kind of interesting and different. I think it's done well, albeit a little bit word heavy. The story is unique and I find it enjoyable.

Unfortunately there's not a lot of gameplay. It ends before you even get to hunt for the first shard, when supposedly, there are a bunch of them you need to find. All in all it's a good story setup. I wish there was more game to play. It's mostly show text, very nicely executed, but still just show text.

My final take is that overall, it's not bad! I think this is a good entry into the game jam. Well done, keep up the good work and try to include a little bit more for the player to do in your next game, instead of just reading. Thanks for participating in the game jam, I hope you've improved your skills through-out this process and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next. :)

Super short and kind of cute art. the pathing is a bit weird though near the edges and going back to the spaceship. Looks a bit weird with the trees there.

You touch the fire even if you have water?

I named myself T\V[1]CK the second time around, for the lols. So they had no idea who T0CK was.

It looks like we call T1CK T0CK during one line?

absolutely adorable art and characterization! I love them all so much and I cant wait to see more!!

Hi! This was super cute and I enjoyed the play through. Tick and Tock are very interesting and I would love to learn more about them so I will be keeping an eye out for more updates on this game in the future! The colors and the music were beautiful ^.^  Well done and good luck in the Jam!

omg, talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.

Another high-quality game *sigh*, I am truly being blown to the waters.

First impressions, awesome menu and flare of art style. Music also bopping.

Into the game, cutely drawn characters and sprite, great animations and sound design. Parallax mapping is always good to see and is high quality.  Unique menu-style. Branching choices and a cool sci-fi story to follow along. Everything looks very consistent and well-made to the player's eyes and interaction.

Feedback, none other than more detail within the ship and that sort of stuff. (I am going ahead to cry and knowing that my game is not going to win by playing these passion-driven games to soak my sorrows in.)

I look forward to the full release. 5/5. Will play more after more reviewing of other games. Please continue to pour in more love to this game!
