Absolutely loved this submission - also struggled through the mini games but had lots of fun trying. Thank you so much for participating in our little jam! Great work.

Gonna have to post an incomplete review, as I couldn't finish the game.

Mini games were pretty fun and very imaginative! Sand castles was very enjoyable and creative, but the fact that the fish kept moving while the characters were talking could be seen as unfair (at least I think they kept moving, it might have just been their animations playing on loop).

The jet ski was super interesting, but the game mechanics need a little refinement. I found trying to move up or down sped up the ski regardless if D was pressed, so I basically had to cheese the event by holding down A the entire run. However, couldn't play the 2nd phase as an error popped up saying image 0002 or something was missing. This caused the crash log to force the game into windowed mode and the ski was stuck in the "boost" animation and I couldn't move.

The "death" events were a little jarring, but I assume they were thematically relevant to the story you were telling. The counter at the top was a little confusing, and seemed to overlay with a previous game's counter, maybe?

Regardless the sprites and models were well made and you made good use of the realistic water plugin. ๐Ÿ‘

well, thank you for playing and reviewing the game! :D, I did my best to be original with the motor use!, plus its my first game ever!

  • tho, respect at the first point, yeah, I know its kind of unfair, and im planning to patch it on the next actualization!, they only move on the first dialogues tho, on any posterior dialogues the command works perfectly!
  • about jet-ski, yeah, I got also a report a few minutes ago, its a bug with objects...and my messy organization!
  • About death events/lore , they were planned to be more explanatory, buy due to lack of time I  sadly had to rush some of them, I agree they can be abit of weird and jarring

all in all, I agree my game has some noticable bugs that im glad you were able to detect!

ohhh, and finally, try the alternative route!, aka, secret rushed ending with boss battle

really cool game! the soundtrack is good for what it is and the overall graphics and art are really spot on. great job

I love the overall aesthetic and mood! Iโ€™m also super pleased that you used the realistic water plugin and even managed to blend it quite nicely to the environment! Well done! About the minigames, they were fun (even though I sucked) but Iโ€™d assign different action buttons to them. Overall a really fun experience, congrats on the submission!

Wow this game is full of cool stuff! The minigames are really nice, you really pushed the engine to it's limit! Congrats!

Nice! I had a lot of fun struggling through the minigames(I'm bad at them no matter what game I play). The characters had fun energy with each other and the darker bits brought some extra intrigue!
