Thank you for the compliment!

I'm hoooping that I can fix a lot of those issues once the jam voting is over, the feeding the chickens through the fence is a new one! But should be easy to fix. Thank you for finding it :D

Yeah Russo mentioned how to fix the titlescreen bug in the Discord so I'll definitely fix it when the jam is over!

I switched to spacebar since it was something I'm used to, but taking away the enter input was unneeded, so I can easily add it back in! The collisions in the engine is something I definitely want to work on as well. I'm thinking of re-writing some of the interactions in the game since the collision area by the fence is also checking the player for items that will push to the next part of the game. I wonder if that could be part of the issue.

Thank you so much for your praise and critique! It means a lot!

Thank you for playing it! And for your honesty :) I will be doing a variety of this type of games, some with a bit of story/gameplay more typical to the horror genre.

No I absolutely appreciate the critique! I have been learning how to build this game by fixing bugs and readability issues from my playtesters, so more is great!

-I'm still picking at how the collision works. I'm not 100% sure how they do but I know when I changed up the detection boxes it got much better, but still off. My biggest issue was not learning what the "states" meant until the very end of the game jam. I will definitely pay with that more to see if I can get a smoother reaction!
-The tree in he way of the woods was a bad choice now that I think about it. I'll clean up that area! Thank you
-So I changed these because of the not understanding states issue. If I left the "block hero on reaction" box on the player would get stuck in that box repeating lines over and over on pixel at a time until they escaped that space haha! Will add some states to fix that! It's a good point to fix
-I agree with you on the raindrops! The color also doesn't match my very specific palette, so I'll likely edit it so it matches better

Thank you for the in depth critique! If you have any better ideas than what I said I'd love to hear. But even just that was a very good list to go through for clean up after the jam is over :D

Niiice! I really love the art style and setup of the game! I got stuck inside another character after failing, but it's still a fun lil game!

This really made me laugh. I love the certain cameo too. Great job!

I really enjoyed this! I won't post spoilers but the monster section being the important part was clever.

The color palette was really lovely for the tone as well

Do you mind me asking what the rough edges were? This is my first game I programmed and built so I'm desperate for critique to improve! I'm so so happy you liked it though! I'll be playing your game in a bit since I absolutely crashed last night LOL

Daw thank you so much! I crashed last night so I'll be sure to play your game today! <3

Daw thank you so much! I had a lot of fun making sprites for it!

Lamby is an introverted sheep who just wants to live off grid and take care of his poultry, who he loves dearly.
Things seem to have gone awry, and suddenly Lamby is struggling to sleep. He seems to feel the well in the woods nearby
holds some sort of answer to his woes. But the toll from a lack of sleep is steep.

I hope to make a series of games for Lamby! Please consider checking it out!
thank ya!

Nice! I had a lot of fun struggling through the minigames(I'm bad at them no matter what game I play). The characters had fun energy with each other and the darker bits brought some extra intrigue!

I appreciate seeing a piece by you here! Your tutorials are what got me through those first few days of struggle while I tried to learn the software!

It's looking great so far! Good luck getting it out someday :D

(note, I was so shocked when I went to save and the character came up as "Lamby", which is my main characters name in my game. Weird interaction that tripped me out xD)

eeee thank you so much Bear! Thank you for helping dig out some more bugs too!

I don't understand if you do not speak english as your first language, being serious, as that grammar should make sense to most. If you do not then I understand you may need clarification.

They being the people I worked with in the jam. Giving credit is widely known as the exchange in a free project for the "lease" of copyright. If where you are that is not the case, I admit I'm more used to talking about things to people who understand that. Once credit has been removed I remove my work. No one's hard work should be taken for free and it's a rule in most jams and websites.
You seem to agree with me that the admin and contributor list is the same, so not sure why you are bringing it up as if I'm wrong. You are agreeing with me as I am with you. Moot point.

And yes, this is resolved. I appreciate hechelion 's points, so I figured it was good to leave up, if I find out it's better to remove by a mod I will do so.

This is my last response on this as all I wanted was information and have other things to do. I hope it helped clarify

I appreciate all of this information. This thankfully has been resolved, but this is all valuable to know.

Itch.io is a united states corporation so they must follow the copyright laws of this country. Without a written and signed document saying that I revoke my rights to my artwork they MUST credit me. Or they need to replace my assets. Had they left my name on it or replaced my assets, as they own the rights to their code and layout, I wouldn't be here asking.

And when you add someone as an admin it automatically adds someone to the "contributor" list on the game page under "additional Information". There was no credit pasted on the page or in the game.

....from the contributor list despite you having made ALL the art assets for the game?

Is it uncouth to out them to warn others? Is itch good about taking the project down if its reported? Or is Itch one of the sites where my lawyer needs to contact them to get the ball rolling?(youtube is like that is why I'm asking, its not a threat)

Thanks for any feedback. This has been one heck of a Jam team. I liked others on the team but the leader has made so many awful choices, one of them being stealing my work.

This game is adorable, very addictive <3

When I clicked in a direction I got stuck and couldn't move forward anymore, had to spam click backwards before it registered and I was allowed to move forward again. I thiiiink it was in the section right before the wood shack the first time. Very mild issue i promise. I didn't rate against you for it I promise haha

I love this. The story is awesome, the visuals are awesome, the sounds are awesome, I had a tiny bit of struggling with the controls, but nothing enough to actually complain about since it could have been a stutter in my computer.

A+ guys. Great job

I love the idea behind this! The pets themselves were very cute, I wish that I could have kept them, but I learned that maxing out happiness and then selling them was the only way to get more money to get food. Very good base idea, would have loved a different way to make money to focus on keeping the pets.

Great job on your first jam! <3

The style really drew me in to this! Love the simplicity and idea.

I love the feel of this. Very heavy and uncomfortable, like a good horror should be!

Aw man I love it a ton! I can't finish it right now but the tone so far is great!

Thank you so much! ;o;
