For once, I figured out the movement mechanic pretty quickly. Still couldn't control the ship fast enough. That heartbeat sound effect came out of nowhere! The game itself was probably too hard, but the concept was interesting.
Very frustrating game since the space ship is almost impossible to control.
Hmmm... you are the first person to say that. You don't control the space ship directly. You can only change the force of the black holes by holding down the mouse button. To get some speed from the black holes you just need to hold LMB until you reach the middle, and the release it to get flung off.
Really cool idea and it feels really good when you get it right. I'm not sure what it is because the gravity things have a unique feel but it needs something to let the player get momentum easier. I liked the way you used the star to teach the player about the negative gravity points on level 3. I love the visuals and vibe too.
Cool concept! Found it really difficult, but enjoyable.
This was cool idea.
I feel the heart beat effect could be dialed back a bit. Having it get louder and faster the closer it gets creates some really good suspense, but having it going non-stop does make it slightly less impactful. Probably shorten the radius between the player and the monster to where the player starts hearing the heartbeat.
The controls of the gravity fields that either push or pull are very unique and are used quire well. Nice job.
Glad you liked it.
The game doesn't have any ambience sounds or music in the background, so I had to make the player hear the heartbeats all the time.
I knew it would remove some of the suspense and such, but it was still better than having no sound at all (and I didn't want to add anything else. I just didn't feel like working with sounds too much)
that's an original idea :)
you succes to mix gravity & run with original idea, its cool!
make an heartbeat in background is good idea, its make it little opreesif
nice game mate ;)
