For the Ryan Laley Game Summer Jam. Hope you enjoy. Were it not for work, I would have added more sound.

Very nice concept and I enjoyed playing it! Love the fight mechanics where you have to change color for different enemies. Great job!

Developer

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I wanna work on it more and add to new enemies and mechanics going forward.

This is great idea! Reminded me a bit of pinball, but it's a lot more fun. There is still something to work on, but what is there is already good!

Developer

Thanks man, defo wanna work on it more to add new mechanics and maps.

We like the concept! Very aesthetic and calming.

Developer

Thank you guys, I'm glad it gave a good vibe.

This was cool, loved the firing mechanic, got a score of 268. Love the leel design as well, fits perfect with the mechanics, rotating camera would be nice without using mmb but I found that added to the gameplay as well.
I can imagine different enemies with different shapes attacking differently,  triangles being like Kamikazes, half moon that roll over and sprays poison around itself in a small area then rolls back and chases again. lol
Great game, well done.

Thank you mate, glad you enjoyed it. Love the ideas you have, they would force the player think more and adapt. I defo wanna add more mechanics and abilities going forward.

Like the core mechanic but feel it just lacked a little bit of direction and, as others have said, maybe a little bit easy. Certainly very chilled out and felt complete but just found myself wanting to know what the endgame was. I would maybe think like - get 10 points then you can unlock area 2 and have new skills and so on. GG on your entry, it sounds easy to do game jams but its pretty high pressure - I have much respect for everyone who has an entry!

Developer

Thank you my dude, didn't really consider an Endgame for a small gamejam but the idea of new maps and new mechanics sound really cool, and of course making it more challenging. Am gonna work on it more and see what I can add.

I like the look of the game it does seem a little easy.. could be the start of something really great!

Developer

Thanks bro, I got a bit worried about some gamejam games being too hard and ended up making it too easy. Defo gonna work on it some more, re-balance it and add some more features.

Haha I went the other way and maybe made mine too hard.   I didn't have time to add a difficulty setting.

Cool idea but could definitely use some balancing, played for about 10 minutes and rarely saw enemies or took damage. Overall a cool idea just needed a few tweaks to take it to the next level

Developer

Thanks bro, defo agree it needs balancing. Gonna work on it some in the future and rebalance/add more features.

Overall a very simple idea that is executed fairly well, I think the map is a bit too big for how many enemies spawn as it was very sparse until I returned to the middle where just big groups would find me, but they couldn’t really hurt me even in big groups. I had no use for the healing items across the map as I was always full health. The idea of switching between colors to attack different enemies is really cool and I think it could be expanded upon really well.

Thanks bro, I defo didn't leave myself enough time for playtesting. Defo gonna work on it more and add new features/ work on re balancing.

Sounds awesome man, can't wait to see what you do.
