Nice game and very nice combo mechanics! Very well done!
It was lots of fun chaining combos, knocking enemies up in the air and off the map, great feel to the game! Super impressive how much you've achieved in 3 days! I do feel like the level design lacked a bit of focus, I wasn't quite sure where I was supposed to be going or what my objective was - I'm sure with some more time to commit to tighter level design and some cool new ideas for enemies, you could make the combat feel more enjoyable and rewarding. Excited to see where you go from here!
Yea I was meant to be working with a level designer but they had some issues so couldn't help unfortunately, kinda rushed it and you can tell
Didn't have a gamepad handy couldn't figure out if it's playable with a keyboard.. looks interesting!
nice combat enjoyed it a lot
Very cool game and combat but as everyone else has said the game desperately needs better keyboard support, however with a controller the game was very enjoyable!
Yea definitely one to think about for my next jam! Thanks for the feedback!
Yea this one is sick, i have no idea how you managed to implement all those combos in 3 days lol. that's crazy dude. love the speed and flow of the combat.
Very clearly DMC inspired which I find really cool. Combat is ok if not a little repetitive. The part that made me really not enjoy the game is how awful the keyboard controls were. I should NOT have to have a controller on hand for a game that will only be on PC.
Yea love devil may cry, wish I had more time to work on the combat and UI to spice things up, or even add more tutorials - its actually fairly complex behind the scenes but you can get pulled into repetition quite easily. Cheers for playing!
I unfortunately don't have a controller, tried with the keyboard but it's too difficult. Love the visuals though, what I could play looked amazing and the moves look very smooth. If I get a controller will come back and try again.
Great job though, well done.
Thanks - I wish I had more time to work on the UI and adding better controls for keyboard! I'll try and do a gameplay video tonight so you can see the whole thing though (hopefully) Ryan will be able to make it to the end!
