Nice game concept! Had fun playing it. Some small bugs, which is normal for a demo of course. But very well done!

The idea is cool and it's a lot of fun to play! The character sometimes goes out of the grid, which makes the game impassable, but I liked it anyway!

Super neat idea! Though I found it confusing that the characters didn't seem to be locked to the grid? At one point I was unable to continue with the game as I was on the grid lines and couldn't move through the door. Pretty enjoyable though!

Enjoyed your game! A couple suggestions.. keyboard input and faster movement.. I didn't realize you could bring the settings screen back up to change the speed until after I played through the whole game. I imagine if it wasn't a quick gamejam a rook and bishop would crank the difficulty up! Nicely done.

Very cool idea however I feel that the execution of the levels made it a bit too easy, I would definitely recommend smaller levels to make the players movements feel more strategic and make the levels feel less sluggish. Overall with a bit of tweaking on the level design part this was a very sound submission, well done!

I feel like this - it is a really technically sound idea and enjoy the style and effects. I would say that I think going bigger with the levels goes against the idea of single moves. When considering moves step by step the levels should have been compact and make the player think rather than get them to go all over the place - I had to turn the speed right up just to get around the bigger levels at all. All in all its impressive to achieve this in the amount of time you had, just need a bit more time to play around with the format a little I think. Its certainly been one I've enjoyed very much so thanks for your hard work!

I like the idea and the gameplay is fun, but it feels so sluggish. It feels like it takes forever to finish a room, not because it's hard, but because it takes 5 minutes to travel the room. It especially feels really bad on bigger levels.

Really liked the style of the game! A bit to easy maybe but good job overall!
