Interesting take on a samurai game! Would love to have a little loading bar, showing how much power i'm using for shooting. Maybe spawn more eyes at the same time, have some eyes being worth more points, forcing the player into choosing what to kill.
Nice, game works and the mechanic is alright, not necessarily innovative but fun to play. small nitpicks, movement of the canon feels blocky, it might be better to have smoother movement. Otherwise if you have more time, consider adding some moving targets. It would be more interesting to shoot at.
Very unique take on the theme, did not expect to find a game like this in a Samurai game jam, which is an absolute win in my book. The gameplay feels centered around spatial awareness, probably accurate to controlling a SAM. More precise controls would add a lot. Examples: - Make the barrel move smoothly - Add launch force controls - Maybe remote controllable missiles
Would be fun if the eyes would come at you and tried to hurt you. Guessing how high it would shoot was a little hard at first. perhaps at a projectile prediction line at the beginning or smt.
