If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
I made it so you play as a Combine Harvester and you combine the top ten suggestions like a play on words

A short but sweet entry, I like the literal take on "combine"!

The graphics are bang on for a SBIG game, and I like all the little drawings for each of the suggestions on the floating boxes. The sound effects and mumsic were also very fitting for this sort of game.

Despite its short length and small scope I think you were able to cover every inch of this game in SBIG energy. I never managed to get above 45 though :(

Excellent work!

Heh, this was a cute little entry! Not very surpisingly, I do like short highscore-based games, even though I was pretty bad at this one (got 28 as a highscore). The game was surprisingly laggy on my machine and I’m not sure if that’s intended jankiness or the code could be optimized, but overall, for your iirc very first game, this was a very enjoyable experience!

So I think I might know the reason for the lag. So in this game, I used pygame and pygbag to export the game to the web and I had some issues with lag when I had the resolution on 1200x900 so I changed it to 800x600 and there was no lag. What is the resolution of your device because I think that can make a difference. If you want I can add a downloadable version that might work better but I would have to do it 4 hours before the deadline.       PS I am using a 1440p monitor and it runs smooth

Wew this was a really fun little game! Lovely SFX and music, and the graphics are delightfully dreadful! 😍 The concept is really good, and I managed to get a highscore of 71.

The only suggestion  I might make is to make the jump physics slightly more floaty, as currently it's very very difficult to jump over bad suggestions. Those sorts of physics things can be quite hard to get perfect within the space of a jam  though!

Anyway I loved this. Massive massive well done!

that was a pretty interesting implementation of the theme

Good entry imo. Despite both the gameplay and the graphics feeling cursed, there's a surprising amount of strategic depth to this game. I also like your play on words with "combining" every suggestion :P

Developer(+1)

Yeah, that was Sacalius who thought of the play on words and I think it was better than my original plan of just having Votebot shoot suggestions at you

It's a nice little game, but maybe I'd change the bad suggestion image, since it's hard to distinguish it from normal suggestions that are also red. Other than that, pretty fun game!

Yeah, you are right about the suggestions and bad suggestions looking too similar; I guess I just assumed they were different enough after playing it many times

Pretty neat little game. The janky aesthetic and gameplay fit SBIG Jam perfectly. I do wish more modifiers were implemented. I managed to get a score of 50

Thanks, this is really my first game created in pygame if you don't count me creating snake. As for the suggestions I definitely could have added more. I guess was just assumed that ten was enough and went spot into the idea of combining suggestions
