If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
I tried to cram as many of the modifiers into this thing as possible. No idea how many i did properly though :P

Really original entry! And its name is certainly earned lol. I love how the fun relies so much on the game being janky rather than jankiness being secondary to the game. The controls were a bit hard to grasp for me at first, but once I got the hang of them I had a lot of fun, and it was great how there were so many options.
Awesome game, especially for this jam!
PS: the intro was absolutely godlike.
Well this was an insane throwback to stick figure punishment simulators of the 2000's! I tried using a couple different weapons, and I think the fireball and melee weapons ended up working the best. When I tried using the assault rifle it never seemed to fire.
The QWOP-like controls added a very SBIG element to the game, combined with the insane physics and performance hit caused by all the gore.
And the menu and intro slides are 100% "so bad it's good", with the awkwardly placed and roated UI, and the horrible MS paint spelling. It all comes together so astoundingly well!
Also the history fan in me appreciates the reference to Teddy Roosevelt's foreign policy.
This is a janky, ugly mess, characteristic of someones first finished game attempt. And it is PERFECT for this jam!
Good work!
that was an interesting experience. The level of jank was somewhat interesting, but did get a bit frustrating towards the end as performance tanked and I was struggling to remember how the controls were supposed to work, rendering it rather difficult for me to actually move my weapons and be able to use them (eventually just relying on the janky physics to brute force my Napalm Balls from the Book of Napalm into the hurtboxes of the enemies, whilst constantly regenerating health from the ULTRAKILL Reference whilst drowning in a sea of blood).
still, peak SBIG energy right here.
That was... well, I was expecting it to be crazy, yet somehow it was a lot crazier than expected. QWOP meets stickman abuse simulators, but with the modern twist of P H Y S I C S. A few times everything exploded and I went flying off the screen. Eventually it reached a point where the framerate dropped to the single digits, which seems like a fitting enough end for this game.
The one gotcha is that it's possible to miss the game completely. The button you have to click to start the game isn't clear, I ignored it, and I thought the weapon selection screen was all there was to the game until I checked the comments.
Super interesting controls. A little overwhelming at first, made me wish each of the controls could have been introduced one at a time or something. But excellent fit for this jam!
Wew this was super interesting! I love a good 2d fighting game (big fan of Stick Fight and the like!) The weapons in this game are super fun to use, and while some are definitely a mixed bag, I really enjoyed messing about with them all.
The story and presentation is nothing short of perfect. The menu. Perfect. The opening cutscene. Perfect. The way the game just closes unceremoniously when you die. Perfect. Every part of this game just has a certain level of jank.
I wasn't expecting to see slowdown on my system, so I set the minimum framerate to 0. God was I wrong 😂. I think It must have gone down to about 2 seconds/frame at one point. Though sometimes it felt quite fun like a very stuttery bullet time.
Thanks so much for submitting! I really enjoyed this entry!
I really liked the janky physics. Hard to play at first, but the roguelike upgrades made it pretty fun. Overall, good entry!
I find the level of crazy physics in this game goes over 9000. Could read none of the written descriptions. Definitely very bad, but I couldn't find the "good" part of the game, beyond the range of options of weapons you could fool around with.
Thank you for letting me know - descriptions being unreadable was definitely not intended. If you don't mind me asking, what was wrong with them? Were they poorly written, or is there an issue that's making them literally unreadable?
I meant the pages describing the setting and rules specifically (wanted to add a screenshot of that but itch didn't let me)
- I can barely read it in terms of legibility, and I admit I also clicked through the instructions previous pages pretty fast, which didn't help in terms of understanding the setting better. Stuff that was on the menu/weapon selection page was perfectly readable since they were normal font. Hope this clears it up!
As the first photons and sound waves containing information about this game entered by eyes and ears, i could do nothing but shed a tear because i have never witnessed anything so great...
