If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
I couldn't put every suggestion so I mentioned these modifiers suggestions: The depths of hell, excessively non violent, it's all about speed, not a lot of nice, cats everywhere. The biggest modifiers that were used were the tiny open world which is the world is all a big toy story like setting, 🎷🦖(the murdered dino was a jazz celebrity), unapologetically furry(everybody is stuffed "furry" toy).

Any additional information for voters?
The game has a couple of bugs, you may have to restart the game from the browser refresh. There are three items to collect and they change dialogue

Love this so much! I  like a good murder mystery, and think the characters  and story are well written! I love the idea of the game taking place in a child's playset, even with a hand controlling Mr Mittens! I think it's a really nice touch and helps to create a really interesting scenario!

Great use of the modifiers! I love to see that 🎷🦖 is getting the attention it deserves this year! Thanks so much for submitting!

This was a cute little game, I like the meta idea of it being a little girl playing with her toys, and the giant half-visible hand really helped sell the feel. It's also cool playing another detective game in this, and I liked how collecting the evidence opened up new dialogue options. Though I think this is unique of the three in that this game actually has a defined murderer which is neat.

I liked the opening text in the book, how it squeezed in all the modifier references and also roasted the little girl character lol.

The dialogue was also generally funny as well, with all the random excuses and the chief of police describing the murder victim.

Graphically I think this game falls sslighty into so bad its good, especially with some of the buildings having misaligned textures. I do wish there was some more audio aside from the music though.

The mouse sensitivity was an interesting janky touch, it was a "flaw" but it wasn't too annoying since the game didn't require a lot of fast maneuvering and tight quarters.

Overall I liked it, good job!

So I beat the game and I loved the gameplay but I have some questions. So I narrowed it down to two suspects by collecting items and other stuff but I couldn't figure out any evidence confirming which one it is so I tried, got it wrong, and then tried again and got it right. Could you possibly make a doc or something explaining why it was the certain one I chose because I am dying to know why.

Sure here you go. Docs with spoilers.

I'm not sure this is really a so bad it's good game, not because it was bad but because it was pretty good. Okay, it was rough around the edges, with middling graphics and look sensitivity way too high, but it's cute and charming, has a wonderful concept, and even has brilliant little details like the hand holding the protagonist.

I didn't figure out the murder mystery right the first time, but my second guess was correct. I'm not sure how the logic is meant to work, but I'll freely admit I'm not good with puzzles.

Developer

Thank you. So yeah there wasn't much of a puzzle it's more like the dialogue expands with the right evidence collected. It was Very rushed though so I didn't think much about it

Heh, this is a cute entry! Really liked that the player character was guided by a hand, that was a really nice touch. Music was maybe a little too good for the jam, but graphics were purr-fect, nice job!
