Rather fun game, however after a second playthrough it becomes rather apparent that the merging of weapons is much more of a predetermined thing as the weapon drops are always in the same order, and you cannot skip a drop and then pick up the next weapon. There are also a couple of spots in the map where the player can funnel all the zombies with very engaging gameplay (the bottom left house being one of them). Lastly as the zombies spawn in certain areas, regardless of the players location, you can essentially become telefragged if you accidently stumble into one of the places.

However the gameplay as mentioned is quite fun, and overall this would really just benefit from a bit more though out map design, spawn mechanics, and larger arsenal that allows players to actually make choices on the guns that they want to merge. The music as others have mentioned is near inaudible however, which is kind of underwhelming.

Nice game.

Pros:

The game feel is awesome.

The gameplay is simple and fun.

The sound and music fit the game perfectly.

Cons:

The background music is extremely quiet compared to the sound, I could not hear the music at some points.

I don't need to merge any guns because I have a gun with unlimited ammo and that can kill a zombie in one shot.

My kind of game! :D Enjoyed it a lot, great job, it's a game you can play anytime anywhere.

Fun!

I really liked the weapon mechanics; how you have an inaccurate weapon; then a long range; then long range with spread; then the minigun ... not sure if there is any after that?

Nice touch with the music fading in and out too; was thinking it'd be cool to have another song fade in while attacking after awhile to bring in some more intensity.  I like the music that plays though!

The visuals are great too; it reminds me of a game called Disco Zoo.  I think the sound chosen for beating the zombies added to this for me for some reason; it softens the whole theme of zombies in a fun way.

This was a great submission...I've rated 35 games in the jam so far and this is my favorite. :)

You got some satisfying shooting and gameplay, up to obtaining the machine gun merge. After that, the player becomes practically invulnerable and can increase score forever - I got up to 4000 before quitting. Maybe some harder enemies could have been good, or simply a progressive increase in enemy stats along with continued gun upgrades.  Either way, great work for a jam game!

Fun to play and engaging mechanics. Satisfying and nice sfx. Visuals are nice. There is collision glitch on the right side of the map. Good work

The gameplay feels responsive and satisfying, though it would be nice to unlock weapons a little faster. Sound fits well with the graphics. Great job on this entry!

The main mechanic worked great with the game and the controls are nice.
Feedback: gameplay gets a bit plain after a while so multiple enemies would be nice.
