Cool game, it was fun but the pacing was a bit slow.
This is really nice, I really enjoyed it, the visual style is really cool, it needs work on the sounds and the pacing which was a bit too slow.
But still this is a very solid concept.

I played until level 19. It's a cool concept but the progression is too slow. It may feel different in a multiplayer environment, but against the AI it is grindy and unfulfilling. On the other hand, the aesthetics: perfect (besides the mouse sprite issue). The evolutions felt unique and powerful as well. Nicely done!
Thanks for your comment and feedback! Yes, for now the progression is very grindy and sometimes boring, but on next updates I plan on adding more enemies to spice up the game a bit. I will also probably revamp the enemy AI (that for now is just: follow player, get near, shoot, repeat) to make the game involve a little more strategy. Also I'm working right now on an update that fixes all mouse cursor issues and some visual glitches.

Thanks :). Your problem is probably caused by my custom cursor, that has a strange scaling, but I'm already working on an update that fixes this issue.
Nice, though the buttons could be bigger as I had some trouble clicking start/restart
Thanks for the comment :D, the buttons for now are a bit small because I had to rush the Game Over screen and Main menu at the last hour of the jam, so I didn't have much time to scale and test them properly.
Fun game but very hard haha !
Omg haha I played until level 24! Super fun! The beginning is hard, but after you reach level 3 you are good to go.
nice graphics and gameplay , maybe more ennemie would make the game more interesting, and i had some visual glitches during animations.

My only complaint is that there should be more slimes that spawn constantly in the late game.

Controls were smooth, my objective was clear and collecting dead sludgies is really satisfying. Mouse icon made it a little hard to understand where i was clicking. Great bones for a game, nice one!

I really liked the graphics in your game! She is insanely beautiful! The idea of the game is very good. It's bad that the game runs in a large window and there is no way to change it. As a result, it is impossible to play it on my laptop. I had to launch the game on the TV. After the evolution of the slugs. During the attack animation. A yellow or red slug turns green for a while. I would like to see a table of results, since a game jam on this topic. I will be looking forward to an update for your game.

Yes, I made PC Build run windowed for now because I forgot to add a "Quit" Button (lol) but that will definitely change in the next updates, for now you can just play it from the browser if you want. Also, yes, I'm also planning on adding an "Enemies Killed" counter at the end, and maybe a highscore or general stats in the main menu.
