At first I the controls felt awkward, and camera sensitivity too high. After six collected boxes this did not matter- I was gunning for that first place (and ultimately got second).
Really good game, that I could see being spun off into a bigger project.
Keep up the good work!
thanks for playing our game!
At first I wasn't able to play the game because my name was too long, and it didn't even tell me it was to long. That was annoying. Unity's built in input fields and TMP's both have a character limit built in that would have been better to use.
While I was playing the game it took me a while to figure out the movement, but eventually I got the hang of it. To me it feels there is to much sliding around. The blue squares showing you where they are behind you by snapping to the edges of the screen is helpful, but glitchy and confusing.
The last thing is the cyan circle. It has a great purpose, like showing you where you might land a jump.
Except it doesn't. In fact, it does the opposite, making it hard to see when touching the ground, and disappear when you need it the most.
Aside from this, I enjoyed the game a lot. The attention to detail on the level is stunning, and feels like something out of a published game.
thank you soo much for this comment!
it's really helpful to know how player feels while playing the game.
sorry for character limit confusion, i actually didnt know i could set the limit on TMP.
It's okay, neither did I! I figured it out with ChatGPT.
Thank you for your comments on the design and look of the level. Means alot to me.
Game does not load for me after I enter my name :(
EDIT: If you have this problem, use a shorter name.
does button come back or will it wanish and stay like that? if button appear again after closing then try to use a name less than 10 character or try closing and opening again, if button does not appear again then it means its stuck in logging in
of course i am not sure how good it will work out but i am the one who knows what happens in that code, so thats my guess on how to fix it.
Yes, the button vanishes and comes back. My name is 9 characters, I tried naming myself: "BetaFruit" I will try again as "beta"
i saw beta, you seem to successfully log in and changed your name, it should let you play, if not that is really strange.
btw people seem to not get high scores ingame, is this because people get bored or did i mess up timing on slider?
I got bored, and didn't feel like waiting on the slider to submit my score.
Very good mechanics. Its more fun than it looks at first. I really enjoyed the city this is set in.
thank you for playing our game!
Simple, yet satisfying. Unfortunately, music is not included.
Feel like it gets repetitive way too quickly. Nice implementation though
Please check my game and rate it if you can as well
Thanks for playing! o(* ̄▽ ̄*)ブ
Game feels good, idk why but you really wanna jump around 5-10 minutes for some reasons :D
Better visual for "score cube" and more levels will be nice to have :)
i tried to balance timer so player has enough time to jump around and make drain incerase low so all player wouldnt end up with same score of 10-15.
this, of course, made the game kinda boring, but like how i write in the description, the game is good with music.
I liked the mechanics of the game, sometimes the highlight blue color made it so that I didn't really know what was happening, but overall good game!
(o゜▽゜)o - [thanks for playing]
This game was pretty neat. It could use more feedback for when you collect a box, as well as some way of seeing the geometry of the level when everything is cyan, but other than that, it's pretty solid!
we got some problems with colliders, since mesh colliders would make physics go haywire we put somewhere near 70 box to map, and i made chatgpt write a shader to make parts you are near visible.
as for feedback, you are right, there were many things that could have sound effects and other things but i was in a hurry to make the game work.
