Nice job! having different speeds for the monsters made for a great way to keep me on my toes and attentive. a bit repetitive after a while of course but still plenty worthy of a few replays!

Thank you for playing, Phyrocast! I definitely agree about the repetition. I was really hoping to include some different (and animated) monsters and item pickups for different attacks, but I got to it a bit late and only had two rainy days to jam before the clock ran out. It sure was fun new experience though, and I really enjoyed making it. :-)

I am very curious as to what coding language you used to make this?  This is the first one that required me to install .NET.  This game would be an excellent enemy encounter for an old style RPG game.  Great job completing the game and getting it submitted with 11 hours left.

Thank you for trying the game! :-) I'm so sorry about the .NET install! I had no idea it was going to make people install that. I made this one with MonoGame using VB.NET.

Its a simple game but its fun!

I think the monsters are a little predictable, so maybe a some variation in the movement set and also in the sprites could be a good improvement.

But overall a good job, congrats!

Thank you for trying it out, TinOak! Yeah, I had gazillion ideas and improvements I wanted to try out, but only had two days over the weeknd to jam and ran out of time. It was my first attempt at an "action/adventure" style game and I was really having fun with it. Might be worth continuing this project or something similar. :-)

Score is 1260!

I don't know which engine you have used, but it feels (from the amount of files, and that it required me to install .NET Runtime) that you might have picked something too complicated for current level of gameplay.

It would really benefit to have a build for web and maybe using tools which would allow you to put more juice into the game with the restricted time you had.

Sounds are nice, gave some Celtic feel idk.
I didn't really felt the escape theme, but that's personal.

Very Fun Game! My High Score was 1240. those dragons get pretty spicy after Level 12.

Significantly higher than mine, and I made the thing! Haha! :-D

I must keep trying!
