Hey, I think the windows download link is broken as of right now.
I just tested it and it's working for me, did you go to the itch.io page?
It's pretty important that people read through the itch page before playing (in order to understand the mechanics) so I opted to not use itch.io's built in download links. Instead, I put the links as download buttons at the bottom of the page.
If they aren't appearing for you you can download the same file here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lopjnn1xicc34lk/GOOM.zip?dl=1
@Everyone else, I highly recommend reading through the itch.io page first as it explains the game mechanics and not immediately downloading from the above link.
Hmm, maybe it's my connection but everything else is working fine for me. I did use the download buttons, and now the link you provided in your comment doesn't seem to be working either.
Could you send me a direct message on the discord server?
Edit: Or just try this https://www.dropbox.com/s/lopjnn1xicc34lk/GOOM.zip?dl=0 auto download could be breaking it for you.
This is a very thrilling game!
smallbugfeatureWhile still holding down the fire button, swap the gun (works normally), but swap again (and only the model changes, the gun still fires the last selected type)
You can make the base gun shoot acid and vice versa. (Swapping twice again will make the guns shoot the correct type again)
Thanks for making this game! I had fun and I hope you had fun while creating this!
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it!
Oh yeah, about that bug. I'm so confused how this is even possible as (I thought) weapon states and 3d models were stored in the same game object. Glad to hear you found a way around it though :)
Edit: I just realized what you meant by the "Builds shortcut", that's hilarious.
Nice entry!
Use of theme is on point, and the overall atmosphere created by the graphics, background music, and voice lines worked really well. I particularly liked the use of pH as a mechanic.
Well done for 72 hours!
Love it! :D
Well done!!
