A jam submission

This is a small game jam project I made for the 2021 Scream Jam. Pretty bad, mainly just praticing.

It’s not nothing, but it isn’t something either.

This really lacks much logic. The audio makes no sense, gameplay has no reason, and visuals could use some work. As well, a wall of text for the end showed not much confidence in releasing a project that you worked on.

I am not going to hammer in just how many problems there are with this as I am sure you already know them. This really needs to go back to the drawing board!

As well, consider having more confidence in yourself. Most people would rather see a bad game that the developer had confidence in, than to see a bad game where the developer knows it’s bad but releases it anyway.

Pretty strong visual design, I also think it has a really fun concept. I enjoyed playing through this :)

You made good use of lighting to direct the player to each objective. But dude, you never need to apologize for your game. Basically everyone here is still learning, that's part of why we post to itch not steam :D

Well, there wasn't much here, but I really enjoyed it for one main reason: my uncle Donald used to tell me not to eat watermelon seeds or they'd grow in your stomach. He was a weird guy... we were out on a walk one day, and I was running ahead of him, and he pointed out a "Slow Children" sign and told me it was the law that I couldn't run and they would come arrest me unless I walked the same speed as he did.

Thanks for the nostalgia! Instead of an apology at the end, you should have just drawn a picture of a person with vines coming out of them and said "The End" and you would have had a perfectly complete little game!

Oh, and by the way... the dude has hammers for feet based on that footstep sound effect!

Is something supposed to happen after we ate the seed?
