Spoilers

but is he really tho?

He is just trying to move on and start a new relationships and even feeling guilty while doing so.

But she is the one who went through his phone without any consents even though technically they are not in a relationship anymore (plus one who does that is usually the one hiding something in relationships), acts like a yandere right after she said it's okay, and literally committing murder to send a "message". Maybe there is a reason why he wanted to move on.

I haven't been in any relationships, so there might be things that I don't know, but I still feel like this wasn't a healthy relationship from the beginning.

idk, It was hard for me to empathize with her.

This is pretty cool. Does a lot of little things right that make it a real experience vs just interactive fiction. The fact that I could pace around on the train station with the phone in one hand made it feel about 10x more authentic. The control scheme is set up well for it too.
Story's nice and pretty tight, of course -- my only gripe I guess would be the Unknown character, but I guess if the protagonist can talk to his ex he can also talk to some great omniscient unknown too haha

Developer

Thank you for checking it out and for kind words!

SPOILER territory -  unknown is meant to represent the "inner demons" of the protagonist that keep him from moving on after losing someone :p

That was quite a enjoyable little story! Who knew waiting on a train platform could be so worrying haha xD  I got the retribution ending and will go back to play the others but was a little confused by it

(SPOILERS: Did I miss something because I tried to go back to help Freya but the screen fades to black and the only option you have is to block her? I don't get how tryign to go back to her means you end up blocking her)

But this was a lovely gem to play thank you :)

Developer

Thanks for checking it out and for feedback! :)

SPOILER REPLY

Well, in this ending ex kills you and she is the one that blocks her :D but i agree this could be communicated much better

More than happy to :)

SPOILER

That is a really cool idea!  Maybe you need her reflection or something on the screen?

Fellow late night train game, so I had to check it out. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I liked the little text story, it felt like a visual creepypasta/redditnosleep. Smh, why is my ex being so possessive...

Developer

Thanks for giving it a try!

It's a good story. I enjoyed it.

I like the story and how it's conveyed through the phone in the background while you're walking around doing your things. It makes it feel like you're really there. And it's great that you were able to make multiple endings! The creepiness level should have been a little higher, maybe with some sound effects, whispers or ambience. Anyway I liked it, good job!

** SPOILERS AHEAD **

I got the acceptance ending. So about the story, I was kinda annoyed at the "unknown" character. I was like who are you? Why would I even reply to him? And why do I reply like I know him and I have to justify myself? That part didn't work well IMO. I was also confused by my ex texting me. I just told this unknown contact that she's been dead for 3 years. Now she texts me and I'm like "sup?" like it's normal? Isn't she dead? There isn't even some spooky music to underline that something's wrong. So maybe I'm hallucinating it and have been doing so for a long time so it is in fact normal. But then she contacts my new gf? So is she dead or not? No wait, it's paranormal and she's a ghost. And why is this unknown guy still pestering me about this whole thing? :P

Sorry about the vent, know that I wouldn't write all of this if I didn't like the game! :) Anyway maybe I'm just stupid but the way my ex texted was really conflicting with the fact that she was dead. I checked back the message saying that she was dead multiple times to make sure I got it right because what my ex what saying didn't look like something a ghost would say.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Im happy you liked it :)

SPOILER REPLY :P

yeah, ex is dead, flickering lights when she writes were meant to point to that :p it's not the first time you talk to her, hence the hero is not surprised or anything like that. Unknown is like the inner voice of the hero, that doesnt allow him to move on after losing the loved one 3 years ago. Thats why in acceptance ending the Unknown contact gets deleted (although it may not be visible due to ending screen showing too fast xD)

Submitted

Thanks for explaining! :) I did notice that the unknown contact got deleted. I thought he was another paranormal entity rather than an inner voice so I didn't get the symbolic meaning of its deletion.

Have already leaved a comment on a main page of your game with a hint how to fix "fatal error" (at least what has helped me).

Great Job!

I also think that "Train Games" should support each others :D Try our game too! :-)

Tried it, loved it ;P
