Чудесная игра, и есть на что посмотреть!) А комната с луной это просто нечто! :D

I like the story and screen grain effect!
I suppose, the game need more sound effects (because I have not heard any sounds from enemies)

Developer

Thank you for playing!
Are there any points that need to be fixed in the game? or add something?

Besides sounds, I would reconsider enemies (attacking, speed, despawn after player respawn)

Really cool art style, and interesting controls. Nice work!

Cool entry, nice big map to explore, good story, it was pretty interesting, but quite confusing at first, since I didn’t know how to make progress, I died twice without doing anything to get closer to beating the game, gg anyway

The game looks good and has a good environment. But I just didn't really know how to beat the game. Other than that it is a good entry.

Developer

Good morning!
Didn't the hints help you at the beginning, in the first room?

Submitted

Oh, there were hints. Sorry, I must've passed by them. I'll give the game another try.

Developer

Yes, you can view the item when the "Magnifying Glass" icon appears above your head.
Probably it was worth making a clear short interactive tutorial.

Submitted

Yeah, I played the game again and saw it.

Not that I can think of.

The atmosphere and aesthetics are quite spooky, and the story is a good concept. I wasn't sure how to win though, I took some photos of various non-aggressive ghosts but I don't know how many I need to escape. Being able to stun the hostile ones with the camera is cool. The only thing I would add is some groaning or screaming sound effects for the ghosts, I think that would make them scarier.

there was one bug where one of the hostile ghosts walked into me and got stuck, it couldn’t attack but I basically dragged it along with me wherever I walked until I went through a door. Besides that I don’t think so

Nice work with the light!

Multiple things bugged me out, but I don't know if it's by design or if it's buggy:
- the camera aim not aligning with the mouse
- ghosts attacking me repeatedly while my camera was on cooldown
- ghosts walking over my head?
I also think it lacks a bit of sound ambiance.

Other than that, the level design is cool even quite a maze (maybe that's meant to be) and most things works pretty well! The animations are neat; aiming aside, the camera thing work pretty well; the bits of story all around the school are cool too!

Developer

"the camera is not aligning with the mouse" - the character does not aim at the mouse cursor, she looking depending on how you move the mouse vertically

I am already aware of many problems. If people are interested in the game, I will update it and supplement the story.
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing!

The graphics on this are really good, the lighting particularly. You're in the dark but you can still see just the right amount of whats going on. I tried something similar with my game so know its hard to strike that balance. Excellent work

Hmm, I've got a few ideas:

  1. Add sound effects for when the ghost charges and attacks.
  2. Incorporate damage sound effects for the player.
  3. The Ghost attacking and reappearing three times in a row in the same room, and sometimes having four ghosts spawn simultaneously, seems a bit overwhelming.
  4. Address a glitch where the ghost girl doesn't disappear and remains jittering on the character.
  5. Maybe Consider a HUD redesign with a sketch-like aesthetic; though not a major concern.
  6. Implement a heartbeat sound that syncs with the player's health; each hit could escalate the beat.
  7. Introduce a limping mechanic, making the player limp if they sustain enough damage.
  8. Perhaps include a save game option tied to each photo you take.
  9. Explore the addition of volumetric lighting or fog for enhanced atmosphere.
  10. Replace the "Press 'R' to reload game scene" prompt with a pause menu where this option can be found.
  11. And perhaps maybe add some backstory or an objective list?

Aside from these points, it's already a fantastic experience! :D

Developer

Great! Thank you for playing and for rating. I will take it into account in future (possibly) updates of the game!

I liked the atmosphere and it has some creepy moments too. The controls were also nice. Good job!

(I already know about some problems, but according to the rules I can't update the game while the game jam is going on)

I would say changing the room switching buttons from mouse to the directional keys would be a nice change. Also shortening the time between taking camera shots.

Developer

Well, I'll take it into account in future (probably) versions. Thanks for the answer!
