Interesting lockpicking mechanic. Awesome glittery low-res graphics, almost as if from a fmv. A little sluggish to control, but that sort of adds to the suspense. The monsters are sort of able to reach through bars, so I lost a couple times to that!

Cool!

Glad you enjoyed it :)

The monster grabbing through the bars was a though design decision, ultimately we decided that the monster should be able to "grab" through the bars if the player is to close.  Would you say that the monster being able to "grab" through the bars made your runs frustrating ? Or did the monster get you in a way that seemed out of range ?

Thanks for playing our game and leaving feedback, we really do appreciate that. :]

Especially with the low frame rate and level of detail, there wasn’t an obvious visual cue that the monster could do that, so it felt unfair or unintentional. Perhaps if the arms were visually contrasting and stuck through the bars, grasping?

It reminds me the Depths from the first Dark Souls XD. Good game, kinda hard, but funny. The lock picking interact make the game more stressful XD (and it is a good point).

Thank you for playing!!! That really is a compliment. We tried to create a place close to medieval sewers/ catacombs, a place you dont want to get lost in. Which definitely applies to the depths of DS. The lockpicking game getting harder with a stressed hand was the idea that started the game, glad you enjoyed it  :)

Cheers, FV

this is so fun the lock mechanic is so creative, but it was so hard to run from the dungeon keeper

Glad you had fun, even with the high difficulty. We decided to make a hard game, so you can replay it sometimes to master it. Thank you for trying your best haha:
