Actually really good game! Interesting story, awesome atmosphere, and the creatures were weird and wonderful. Getting through it with a pipe got a bit tricky but it added to the charm!
Overall awesome!

Very impressive for a 10 day jam. The whole game feels alive. The 2d animations don't seem out of place in the 3d world.  Awesome variety of enemies all with their own unsettling traits. And was the a crab hand? I'm convinced that guy had a crab hand. And the tall model with the needle scared me more than anything else in the game.

I found myself kinda wanting the camera to not have the texture overlaying everything. Not that it looked bad but I found myself too hyper aware of it, reminding me of it's game-y-ness. Maybe multiple overlay images fading back/forth or increasing/decreasing the opacity with player health would be a nice touch? Other than that I have nothing to complain about. Got the obvious doom vibes here but it somehow felt like max payne too. Great game overall.

Okay I'm really happy with this game. It has an actual plot that connects to the environment in a meaningful way Different monsters that have actual differences that the player has to take heed of. Different weapons that the player has to use, each with their strengths and setbacks. A few "easter eggs" or just interesting placement of meshes that some players might miss. A game environment that generally isn't too hard to get lost in. And most importantly...checkpoints! Thank goodness for that!

All of this is super hard to co-ordinate in a week and I think you've done a great job at bringing it all together into a survival horror shooter. I think the creativity on display here is great and it's clear you executed a vision from start to finish. I think the only feedback I have is that I actually *preferred* the 2D drawings you made of the monster and it would have been more interesting to see the other meshes brought into that unsettling but cartoony style. Great job with this game - I had a blast.

Thanks for submitting Disposal to the SCREAM MACHINE game jam!

I liked the 2D enemies, it's always a pleasure play a "doom like" game. I loved the way their "broke" when they die.

And, like Fanie said, animations when you pick a weapon it's very nice.

Loved the 2D billboarded enemies.  Is the Pink guy holding a doughnut? That was fun.  The animations when you get weapons was nice too.  Would have preferred to get the pipe first and the gun later for the harder parts.  The mannequin dude with the needle in his hand was a nice touch, combined with the end of passages being darker.  Got a fright from the silhouette.   Thanks for making this.

The mix of 2D and 3D was really interesting! The creatures may not be very traditionally terrifying, but I absolutely got freaked when I saw what I thought was a friendly fellow who proceeded to split in half and become a monster when I turned my back to him.
