Cool game! The movement felt really good and I liked the atmosphere! There was a bug where my movement got locked after the ghost touched me. Good work!

Developer(+1)

It's not a bug actually. Your character panic increases when you use the toy as a flashlight, you need to turn it back to normal mode to decrease it. When the panic level is too high character cant move further, so you need to press lmb. But yeah... it's hard to point it out in this build that has no dialogue system working 馃槗
Thanks for the review!

At first I was scared of the stuffed animal looking at me, then I got scared of the ghost, in the end, I couldn't find my house lol

I liked the game, I hope to see more :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! The "stuffed animal" meant to be cute actually 馃槗
4 of 5 original team members keep working on the game, so I am sure you'll see more and I hope you will like it

I really like the zoom effect and the movement, it鈥檚 a good start.

Developer(+1)

it is an asset actually :D
I only made minor changes to it making the toy shake relatively to the camera and to the ground during movement.

here is the link for it, but it's jittery, so I am making further modifications to it right now

Nice prototype! I enjoyed the striking visual effect of the silhouette of the trees and how it added an eerie aura. There's plenty to build on with this, but you've got the enemy follow mechanics and a town to explore to really set things up! I thought it was cute that the spooky ghost is actually kind of chill and just gently throws you up in the air if they hit you.

Developer

Thanks! Fun fact: ghost shouldn't throw you actually, it's a bug ;D

Congrats on your submission.  I was a bit confused on what to do.  I went the wrong way the first time because I accidentally spun my character around and I kept getting stuck on invisible geometry (I think).  So I reset and found the path to the village then I was trying to get into the houses and then drowned in the lake  (I hadn't read the instructions yet).  So when I realized what I had to do, I found a lily pad and picked it up, but I wasn't sure where to go or what to do next.  I think having some thicker forest areas to make a clearer path would have been helpful for my first issue.  I know you said the dialog system wasn't complete, so that probably could have given me clues on what I should do.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your comment and thanks for the advice. You need lily pads to build a bridge across the river

The game felt pretty unfinished, but the plush was cute :) Good job!

Developer

Thanks! It also had fur, but something went wrong with shaders in webgl. The plush is our 3D artist Marina work

I added a little description with an explanation how to play
