I like it a lot! The atmosphere is really cool, and the art style looks neat.
I had a few technical hiccups here and there, especially in the part with the barred wall and the large monster jar. Right after crashing it, the framerate dropped dramatically, and it didn't really improve for the rest of the playthrough. It also affected the character controls and the pushing mechanic. I had to use some dirty physics tricks to make it through the wall - even though the red planks were destroyed, they remained in front of it, so I had to push them away, which took a while. Being able to climb onto them would've been helpful.
Also, the AI of the monsters break in the first area, if you have them chase you down and then climb onto the low platform, wait a few seconds, and drop back on the ground.
Overall, though, I really had fun playing it.
I got interested in this project since the screenshots on the WIP channel.
First of all let me preface this is my opinion solely as a player and not a developer, as this jam was my first finished project.
I think the art design and atmosphere are a real gem, really unique and dare I say on the level of Indie games such as Limbo and Little Nightmares (with its own unique approach).
Unfortunately the game design and coding aspects aren't on par, got stuck a few times, both for lack of handholding (didn't realize you could vault) and actual bugs (both minor such as player Z position not resetting on respawn, and major bugs as when after freeing the monster thingy i got frame dropped to 1 fps and couldn't finish the game D: ).
Seeing as this was a solo dev project this is really promising, I think if you got someone to help you out with the weaker parts of this game it would turn out great.
Definitely my favorite submission on the Jam, much love!
First, the game looks AMAZING!
Really felt like walking in a huge snowy landscape. The robots animations and lights and the general look of the game is on point.
However, the game controls went crazy on me 3 times as I tried to play so I had to give up on it. I think it has something to do with the jumping/climbing mechanics. After doing something like vaulting/jumping/pushing the box the robot would start to do everything backwards - like I press D to go right and the robot wold do a "Moon-Walk" and walk in reverse.
Or am I missing a part of the controls?

I really like this style! I was confused on how to get past the red/purple boxes area, I think a little more direction for players would be helpful. Beautiful art and ambience though!
thank you, this is my first time making puzzles so
I downloaded last night and ran into a BSOD when I launched it. Maybe I need the version before the patch.
I like the art style and the animations on the robot, the game worked for me but there was some white overlay that flickered every couple seconds at random.
Not having a system to hide objects in front of the player makes it more difficult to play.
Got stuck after pressing down the button to turn the fan on, relying on physics to solve a puzzle is generally a bad idea unless you heavily control it or get a ton of play testing done.
Hope you make improvements to the game and continue to make cool stuff.
thank you
i'm in the process of fixing the flickering bug, and I will try to fix any puzzle issues
i fixed the flickering problem and i fix some bugs in the puzzles too
When starting up there is a black screen and wind sounds. I tried waiting, running as administrator, downloading again. But it still won't start :(
Okay, the game works on my partner's computer. Strange. This is the second time this has happened...
